Excellent if sometimes imperfect cuisine, superb service, and polished and mature decor make Annabelle an excellent dining experience.

Service was great. Unfortunately, that’s the only highlight of our experience. We expected a lot more from the restaurant at this price point. My chanterelle mushroom soup was under seasoned. My partner felt the same about his pasta course. Both of us had the steak as a main course. The presentation was great, but the dish was underwhelming. The dessert wasn’t much better. The atmosphere was lively and extremely noisy. You have to raise your voice to converse.

Annabelle’s interior design is superb. We had great service, too. Food was very good though not particularly memorable. Seafood heavy menu. If I lived in the neighborhood, I’d probably go all the time. If invited by someone to go, I’d be happy and wouldn’t try to talk them out of it. I’m glad I tried it!

Went to Annabelle for restaurant week for the first time. We started with the pork belly and the baby lettuce salad. The pork belly was cooked well, and the accompanying sauce was really interesting. The baby lettuce wasn’t as interesting.

Went during Restaurant Week and had the beet salad, skate wing, and chocolate cake/vanilla gelato. Skate wing is hard to find and even harder to cook and it was made to perfection. Ambiance inside is fantastic with multiple sun roofs providing ample natural light and excellent service. One of the top restaurants in DC!!

An absolute hot spot, high end, and a great dining experience. This is a 4.5 star experience. Cozy and beautifully done, good ambiance. Comfortable seating in the dining area. Had a great dinner that I will want to put on replay whenever in DC. Wine menu is also great and unique. Every dish we had was well presented and delicious. The black cod was mouth and mind blowing – not exaggerating. While a small portion it was so perfect; buttery flakey delicate and the sauces it sat on were magic. Whatever they were they were magic on my tongue. Only underwhelming plate was the beet salad plate; the beets were tiny and were flavorless. Confident they can do this better. Everything else was just fantastic. Menu is well designed and cost is moderate to high. Ben who served us was meticulous, pro without hovering, making the experience a relaxing one for all of us. Perfect for celebrations and special occasions. We took a Lyft so I am not sure about parking – maybe some street parking around the same block. Go and have a beautiful time while giving your taste buds a feast. Definitely on my replay list!

Amazing atmosphere with great food. The front bar has great cocktails with friendly bar tenders. The food is well portioned and carefully crafted. The restaurant still feels under the radar from your usual Washingtonian Top 100 or Michelin rated venues.

Celebrated our 10th anniversary here. We love this place, and the meal did not disappoint. Cocktails are interesting, wine is good and reasonably priced and the food is beautifully presented and well executed. Highly recommend for any day dining, or to celebrate a special occasion.

We had an amazing experience here! Our waitress, Andrea, was wonderful. She was so sweet, attentive and provided helpful recommendations. The food was delicious. The deserts were incredible. We had three!!! At 37 weeks pregnant, this was our last date night out for a while and I’m so glad we chose to spend it here! We will be returning!
