We stopped in because the ratings were clearly better than other locals and really glad we landed here. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. This is the kind of place that genuinely appreciates your business. They’re working on improving the signage. It’s right next to the barber shop, don’t pass it by. We had a brisket sandwich and brisket cheese fries that were outstanding and very healthy portions. David had us try some homemade ice cream… And I mean homemade on the spot. The chocolate and peanut butter was extra rich and every bite was like getting the perfect part of the swirl in a store bought ice cream. They’re killing it here and serving up great food for a great price.

Oh my goodness! Wonderful food and service. We enjoyed a 2 meat plate (ribs and pulled pork) and 2 sides ( mac and cheese and green beans). They were the best tasting green beans we have had in a long time. The ribs were so tender when we grabbed one to pick it up the bone came right out. Looking forward to coming back.

Outstanding food, super service. Everything we got was perfection. Perfect toast on the bun, perfect sear on the burger, perfect smoke on the brisket. The fries were whole potatoes 5 minutes earlier. The ribs were fall off the bone goodness. We tried the ice cream….marvelous. We will be back!

This was THE BEST food! The brisket cheeseburger was AMAZING! The catfish was so yummy and the peach cobbler and homemade ice cream was INCREDIBLE! We will come back even if it’s an hour and half drive!

My friend and I stopped in during a visit to Canton, TX in early April for a metal detecting hunt weekend. I got the ribs with coleslaw and hand cut fries. All of these were delicious. We like to support the small Mom and Pop restaurants when we go on our detecting trips. The staff/owners were awesome and friendly. We really enjoyed it.

Stopped by for lunch after church, food was amazing and the family that’s runs this place is so incredibly kind. I had the cheese burger and my husband had pulled pork and ribs. It was all super tender and juicy. Absolutely loved the laid back and welcoming atmosphere.

Have eaten here several times! Good food indeed! Brisket is delicious & tender as can be! Catfish is great…crisp & awesome seasoning! I haven’t tried anything that wasn’t very good! David, the owner, aims to please! Restaurant is clean, decorated in pro football decor! Give him a try!
