I love eating at Annie M’s restaurant and when I do I always order the Fried Catfish. I decided to try something different so I ordered the Blackened Catfish. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. You definitely have to know how to prepare Blackened Catfish and the cook did an amazing job on preparing it. If you know anything about Blackened food you should know it’s usually spicy . This was my second time ordering the Blackened Catfish and this time I had to take a picture. I will definitely recommend this restaurant and dish to anyone who’s looking for some GOOD old soul food.

I ordered Blackened Catfish that was so spicy I could not eat it. I spoke with the owner who stated Blackened is spicy. It’s not described as that on the menu. It’s ok if that is what it is, but it needs to be identified because I would not have ordered it. I’ll never come back nor recommend the restaurant. If I could give a negative rating, I would.

This place is Amazing. We go there every Sunday after church. The food is absolutely excellent and the staff is friendly and on top of their job. I suggest the fried chicken. It’s probably the best I’ve ever had and I love fried chicken so I’ve had a lot of it!! Would definitely recommend!!

Walked in for the third time in 6 months. Just after lunch rush was over but apparently I’m invisible. No one talked to me. They got tea, togo and bills for other people just next to me but not a peep for me. After 10 minutes I just got up and left. Not mad just ONE of my experiences. Ymmv

We had dinner here with my grandmother, our waitress was the owners daughter. She was absolutely fabulous. Accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and we decided to bring our family that Sunday, July 30th for my grandmothers 87th birthday.

Do yourself a favor and stop in this little out of the way jewel. Absolutely delicious food in a rural area. I had the eggs benedict and grits. The eggs benedict was amazing and the grits were really good..not just your average grits. I can’t wait to stop in again and try their lunch and dinner menu!
