We had a party of about 8, I had out of town company and due to good reviews wanted to come there for breakfast. I ordered biscuit and gravy with bacon and an extra order of bacon. My gravy was cold, not even lukewarm, bacon was good. When the other order of bacon came out it was barely done and grease floating on it. I didn’t want to bother the few workers there because they were busy and they were so nice. Probably won’t come back for breakfast but I might try lunch when they have turkey and dressing, it looks delicious when posted on Facebook. The two that ordered pancakes said they were really good!

Wow!!! Annie’s Family Kitchen is a true gem! Our family visited over spring break, and we enjoyed the best food and the friendliest service. The fried chicken tenders are truly some of the best I have ever had, the sweet potato casserole was phenomenal, and the coconut pie was heavenly. It is worth the drive from Louisville, and while you are in the area you can visit one of the local sightseeing caves just a few minutes away. We highly recommend it and look forward to going back soon!

We were greeted like locals, even though it was obvious we were not from town. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They shared their breakfast specials with us. My son, who is extremely picky, enjoyed “the best pancakes he has ever had, while my husband, son and I enjoyed omlettes made to our liking. The kitchen staff even brought over some delicious breaded chicken for us to try, as they were prepping for the lunch crowd. This will definitely be on my list of places to stop back should we ever get that way again. Thank you for a great dining experience.

This is hands down the best breakfast/lunch diner in town. Best food. Best service. I literally can’t say one bad thing about this place, except they need a bigger parking lot and actual diner because they’re usually always busy. But hey I guess that’s the good type of problem to have. Definitely check them out if you haven’t!!

Order at the counter and in a flash your generously portioned and steaming hot food is at your table. We came for breakfast and I had to slide some of my omelet and half a biscuit onto my husband’s plate!! The staff was friendly and we will be back here when we are in the area!

They only get a 2nd star because of the courtesy of their people at the counter, but otherwise it was a 1 star experience. One of their offerings was pinto beans, which we each ordered. But they apparently didn’t want to admit their pot was empty because they kept serving the broth in bowls. It was just brown water that may have earlier contained the pinto beans. At least I hope that’s the excuse and not that this is their permanent offering. Not good, need to respect customers more than that.

The people were very friendly and made me feel appreciated, plus I had pork chops and they were the biggest & best tasting that I can remember ever having. Also I’m a big eater, and had to ask for a to go box because I couldn’t eat all the food they gave me. On a scale 1 to 10, it’s a solid 11!
