First of all, I love the Mexican flare to their food and the fact that I’m not limited to breakfast (I like their enchilada platter). Their food is quite tasty (egg’s Benedict is my wife’s favorite). Service is also warm and their new space is less cramped/hectic. The only reason for four stars versus five is that you don’t get very large portions for the price (I rarely clean my plate and still want more, but I have here a couple of times). All in all, I recommend it though as I think it’s the best tasting breakfast food in Placerville.

It’s such a nice place to have breakfast. The outdoor sitting is huge and you can easily get a table. The menu is huge. A lot of choices. We got the skillet and the omelette. The service was nice and very fast. Highly recommend the fried potatoes. They are so good. And portion is big enough. The place has the good vibe that everyone is nice! Btw, easy to find the parking also.

Took my mother there for a birthday brunch,@1:30 on a Sunday,we had a 15 minute wait the 3 of us had a mimosa my husband had the California Crepes mother had the chili Verde enchilada and I enjoyed the chili reallano omelet (a little on the spicy side) food came out nice and warm and they give you plenty, the service was a bit slow, all in all it was a good first time there will definitely be back.

“We recently dined at ‘Annie’s Mimosas’ for breakfast, and it was an exceptional family-owned experience. We were promptly attended to by three different family members who ensured our drinks were quickly served. The renowned Annie herself took our orders and personally delivered them, guaranteeing top-notch quality. The lively and welcoming atmosphere is evident by the packed parking lot. If you’re craving breakfast, this place is undoubtedly the town’s favorite. Don’t miss out!”

We are from Pennsylvania and were driving through before heading to the coast. Hands down the best breakfast we could have asked for! The mimosa flavor list is amazing too! Annie herself waited on us and was so welcoming and personable. Thank you so much for filling our bellies with such delicious food and drinks!

I love this place. This is my go to breakfast or mimosa place in Placerville. If you want to get seated right away go earlier instead of later on weekends as they get packed! For good reason because the food and drink are amazing and worth it.

I can’t justify rating the place 5 stars. I ordered the breakfast sampler. Though it was good, it’s nothing special it’s just like any other breakfast spot I’ve been to. Portions could be a lot bigger, then we might have something. The ambience is country as one might expect from a Suburb neighborhood.

Service is always incredible and food delicious as always. The California Bene is my go to meal for breakfast. During the week is less hectic than on a weekend so there is never a wait.
