The people there were friendly and the food was perfect. I could really taste the love that Mo put into the cooking. The fried chicken was juicy and perfectly crisp. There was a good portion of brisket as well.

I know I’ve already left a yelp review of this place, but I just can’t stop buzzing about it! Their french fries are awesome, mac and cheese is awesome, pulled pork, brisket, lemonade… it’s all awesome! We went here one time after a long day at our Farmer’s market and have been hooked ever since! They also do great bulk food for events! My husband had his birthday at City Park this year, for Jazz on the Park, we brought some BBQ from here and it was a hit! Everyone wanted to know where it was from! Moe is great! I real down to earth business owner who clearly cares about the food and the customer! We are looking forward to many more years of amazing food!

Went here with some friends to celebrate a birthday, and it was one of the best restaurant experiences I have ever had! The food was PHENOMENAL—best soul food I have ever had! Also, the owner is quite possibly the nicest man on the planet. He gave me and all of my friends free drinks and truly took care of us. He made sure that we were completely satisfied. Moreover, the owners story is amazing! Everyone who visits has to ask him about it!

Been here one time an the Catfish was really good, seasoned well, not dry, very moist. The collard greens were amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to friends n family. Defintely the best BBQ place I have been to in awhile. Pricing is fairly reasonable food is outstanding.

This place is awesome! In a world filled with corporate greed, this place is a true original gem that I’m happy to spend my money at. Mo is living his dream serving up home cooking! His spirit is generous (donating turkeys for thanksgiving to less fortunate in Denver) , and his smile is contagious. I’m a southern girl, and this food is legit! Come support Mo! Neither you or your tummy will be disappointed. Trust me, you’ll be back for more.

If you’ve never had food that tasted like a warm embrace from a parent, you need to try this place. A non descript building with minimal advertising, fair pricing and plenty of parking tucked right off the road. Inviting staff and atmosphere, with no frills; just phenomenal food. If you’re looking for a cure for the blues, come try their perfectly fried half chicken. 10/10 would eat here daily if it was a little closer.

My only disappointment is that I left before trying the sweet potato pie. The brisket was heavenly, tender and smokey, the black eyes peas were seasoned to perfection and the fried Okra? Incredible. Friendly fast service.

Stopped by just to get a menu and ended up getting some brisket, black eyed peas, corn bread and collard greens. It was amazing! Best bbq in town! I want to get a pint of the greens because they were so good. This will be my go to bbq joint from now on! Awesome awesome awesome!

The visit to this restaurant was one of the best parts about my visit to Denver. I’M here from Kansas City and if I ever visit Denver again I will always come to Anointed BBQ and soul food.
