I ordered here for the first time today. I got a pizza and bread sticks (my kids favorite). The bread sticks had burnt residue on a couple, they were plain and had barely any season. The dipping marinara sauce was watery. The pizza was charred all through out of the bottom and to be honest I wouldn’t order from them again. Maybe the cook wasn’t having a good day or they don’t have the same ingredients as before but when my neighbors said it was good I expect more. To me pizza hub off Manheim is better and the prices are pretty much the same.

Anthony B’s is a Melrose Park gem in its own right. Don’t be fooled by the size of the place. It’s primarily a take-out establishment although they have tables and counters to eat at and of course they also deliver. It’s authentic fresh made Italian fare which includes a menu that goes on and on seemingly forever. I have their phone number in my Contacts list because I order ahead for pickup at least once a week. However, my favorite is very simple. Pizza slice. It’s large enough to be a complete meal and always excellent. Very convenient and inexpensive as well. However, if you’re having a decent sized home gathering just grab their menu from your counter or drawer and hit the phone. I’ve had at least 10 guests over and within 30 minutes of ordering the food shows up and everybody’s super happy. Do yourself a big favor and check it out. And don’t forget to grab a few menus for home. You’re going to need them. One more thing. Be certain to ask for “Peoples”. He’s The Man.
