The bread and the spreads were good. The waitress at first didn’t think she had sweetener for my tea, which was odd. My wife had the chicken parm and liked it. Looked like a good portion.

We moved up here permanently from the Chicago area and were looking for something other than your usual fish fry and bar food. This place did not disappoint. The walleye piccata was outstanding and the chicken Marsala was a unique spin on what we’ve had in Chicago area and it was delicious. Servers name was April and she was so friendly, very attentive and personable!! Katy, one of the owners chatted with us for a few minutes despite the incredible amount of people there. It’s not any pricier than any other place that serves upscale food. We will be back with the Italian mother in law in 2 weeks!

Way over priced. I ordered a side salad and a side of cauliflower risotto (only vegetarian options)and it cost $27.50. The food was bland and we had to wait over an hour to be seated with a reservation. I would give it zero stars if possible.

Fantastic meal and service!! Chicken parm was juicy/crispy and perfect, blackened walleye so great, chicken marsala awesome and the special, veal wienerschnietzel, wow. Our server, Sonja, was awesome. Do yourself a favor or and make a reservation at this awesome Mom and Pop cozy place in Minocqua.

Absolutely delicious. Enjoyed meeting the owners Tony & Katy and learning their personal connections to the Northwoods, one could make the case that the historic Milwaukee Road depot that houses Anthony’s Restaurante is the perfect melding between Star Lake and Tomahawk, WI – their respective home towns. Loved the historic, charming, and kitchy atmosphere of the log railway depot. We’ve driven by a hundred times and never taken the time to stop, honestly one of my bigger mistakes as the hospitality at Anthony’s Restaurante was genuine and “home town”, and the food was excellent. Our entrees were delicious; she had the seafood alfredo and I had the Jamison Filet. Both served with icy crisp house salads and cranberry butter for the slices of french bread. This was our first visit and most certainly will not be our last, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and our meals. Thank you Katy and Tony for making us feel so welcome.

We drove up from Greenfield, WI to check out the Wausau area. We proceeded to drive to Minocqua, a beautiful area. Our son was looking for a dog friendly restaurant, and here popped up Anthony’s Resturante. Omg!! The food was fabulous, tasty walleye and salmon, homemade vegetable soup and fried mozzarella. The cannolis were packed to take home. This place is outstanding from the waitress, owners and food. The three of us will be back for sure.

Just off the main drag in Minocqua, this restaurant was a wonderful change of pace from the more typical bar and grill atmosphere present in the Northwoods. The dining room is cozy, and the owners are very friendly! Service was great, especially given that one of the owners was acting as the only waitress.

Dined here last night with 3 others and we all thought it was excellent! The cocktails were very good and agreed they were some of the best Old Fashioneds and Manhattans we’ve had – my drink of choice in the Northwoods to order when dining out and fun compare to other restaurants. The food was delicious and there were several options to choose from. The Walleye Piccata, Mussels and Linguini, and Seafood Alfredo are highly recommended. Definitely call the morning of, or days prior, and book a reservation. They fill up fast. Service was friendly and great despite only one server. It is slower this time of year. Regardless, it made for an enjoyable and relaxing dinner in a nice atmosphere. We will return!
