I wasn’t sure what to think of this place but someone sent me a tiktok and the focaccia alone looked worth the trip. BOY WAS IT! From the outside you would never know this comfy, upscale place existed. We misjudged traffic and showed up way off of our reservation but they sat us immediately. Service was impeccable and everything was crazy clean. The food options had such a varied menu with things I’ve never seen before and I’ve traveled all over Italy. We had the focaccia with liver pate, crudo, squab pasta, lamb, and bone marrow with pureed potatoes AS A SIDE. Who does that!? These guys! Our server said it would be a shame to leave without the pistachio icecream and she wasn’t joking. Everything was perfection from the decor to the food to the wine to the service.

Focaccia and whipped ricotta, yes, just yes, I loved the texture and crisp of the focaccia, it was so crusty-fatty-salty and with the pool of fruity olive oil in the whipped ricotta…game over. Crudo was okay, depends on how particular you are and how fresh it is that day. I had the lemon ricotta pasta and though it was great quality, the combination of the lemon zest slight sweetness and toasted pine bits made it feel more like a lemon dessert -like a bar or meringue- on the first bite and then I couldn’t undo the association, neither could my friend, I suppose I expected a slight lemon tang and there wasn’t any, I would love to try the tongue pasta next, I didn’t have the marrow as there was maybe a teaspoon of it but the sauce and purée were great and my friend said the marrow “hit the spot” as she had been craving it. I would come again to try the seasonal changes, service was good, atmosphere is nice, a bit loud, in a ratty plaza but hey, it’s LA. Get the honey ice cream.

Awesome dinner! Food was excellent! The chicken was juicy and delightful. The only downside is the small crowded space. I feel like I was in other’s conversations.

One of the most delicious dinners I’ve had in LA. We had the focaccia with whipped ricotta, tortelli, steak, and obviously the honeycomb and the pistacchio ice cream at the end. Everything tasted wonderfully and our waitress Sarah was extremely polite, patient, and helpful. The chef also came by our table to say hi when he heard we were Italian and you can tell he is so passionate about what he does (which shows in his delicious creations) and the people he makes the food for.

Great service and delicious food. So not like when restaurants automatically add 4% to bill for kitchen fee. Only complaint

Came for Christmas Eve dinner and it was such a delicious and decadent meal. The staff was great and thank you for working so hard that day! We ordered from pretty much every category. We got the focaccia bread( which omg so good), the broccoli caeser salad, the tortellini pasta, pappardelle pasta and the lamp shoulder. All were very delicious, but I would have gotten a dip for the bread(which the staff recommended) and a side for the lamp shoulder(which he also recommended.) I probably wouldn’t get the lamp shoulder again. It was tasty but a bit tough. I thought it would have been softer. The other photos of this dish were a bit deceiving. I would go back for the tortellini and the focaccia.

Don’t be fooled by the fact that it’s in a rando tiny strip mall on Beverly! – I recently had a small 6 person birthday party here and had one of the BEST dining experiences in all my 10+yrs living in LA. The FOOD was the best Italian food I’ve had in LA (and honestly better then restaurants in Italy). The service was excellent and similar to in Italy where somehow your water gets filled and things come and go and you don’t even notice. They also do not rush you. The vibe is warm & intimate & also sorta buzzy (in a cool la way). This is now my favorite restaurant in LA. Please keep doing what your doing. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Well executed “nuovo” Italian fare, with particular standouts: warm, freshly baked focaccia with just the right amount of salt, fresh ricotta with roasted pistachios, and all pastas made in house. To end the meal, I thought, “Ice cream… how good could it be?” And then I tried it. The honeycomb with olive oil, salt, and gooey chewy chunks of honey; and the fresh strawberry – home spun ice cream like you’ve never had it before.
