This is real SC barbecue, and you can’t get it like this anywhere outside of SC. Order a “plate” from the pickup window outside and get the awesome hash over rice, pulled pork with mustard barbecue sauce (gold). One of the best things in Orangeburg. Family style tables and buffet on the inside.

I absolutely love the food here!! This is hands down the absolute BEST place to get some BBQ, especially the hash and rice! Before I moved to the upstate 8 years ago, I came here all the time and I still have yet to find another place up here that can even come close to their hash and rice!!

Staff were friendly. Food was ok. Green beans were sweet like they added sugar (?). Can’t believe they don’t have fried okra. Hush puppies, fried chicken, pulled pork, BBQ sauce and baked beans were all good. Cole slaw was ok. Mac & cheese was a disappointment.

When my mom called to place a order she told the lady who answered phone she wanted fried chicken white meat with rice/hash mac & cheese and green beans. The lady then said she could not have beans and mac&cheese together. When asked why is that she said she didn’t know. Maybe they have ways they fix plates. I know they have large and small plates but it does not say what you can have on those plates. I think if someone wants whatever on their plate they should get it. Maybe it cost a little extra that’s OK. But don’t tell someone they can’t have something if that’s what they want. And another experience we have had is with the lady at the window when ordering. She has been rude at times and to certain people.

Souther hospitality at its best!! The food amazing! Gene amazing! Heading back to Florida but will definitely be back. That chicken was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely have the banana pudding.
