This is not good Cuban food. My wife and her family are Cuban and we all agreed there was nothing crispy about the vaca Frita. The meat seemed unseasoned like if it was only boiled and pulled apart. The Cuban sandwich was not even toasted correctly, see photo attached.

Stopped by to get some appetizers and a drink after a long day. Sadly the apps were nothing to brag about and although the drink was strong the flavor was off. I ordered an original mojito and the key to a delicious mojito is the muddled mint. Unfortunately it looked like they ripped the mint out of the ground and threw it in my cup. Not impressed.

The masitas were great! The tostones cooked to perfection! Cuban sandwich was huge and delicious! We were so full we could not try the delicious desserts! Next time! Our waiter was courteous and very amicable! Loved the ambience! Classy chic Cuban! The duo singing samba music was fabulous! I would not use the boom boom music when the singers take a break! I would continue with classic Cuban music, soft and mellow! This better fits the ambiance! Leave that loud music for the young crowds!

Probably one of the better Cuban Sandwiches I’ve had outside of Ybor. It’s great and a shame it was empty for weekday lunch. Music was cranking, it’s odd inside but fun. Probably a fun spot to grab a drink with friends even.

It was a good experience, the food is excellent, very good presentation, the restaurant is very cozy, the drinks are very good too, something to improve, the waiters should be a little more aware of the tables, I had to wait in an empty restaurant 20 minutes for a box. for everything else very good and with good offers Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
