Good food, great service is my review. Very nice ladies who work here and happy to give them my business every now and again. The food is good, don’t get me wrong, it’s just not special enough to drive the extra miles with so many amazing Mexican restaurants so much closer to my house. What I really wanted to try was their menudo, but they were already out around mid day Saturday. Good news is, it’s likely made fresh daily since they needed to make a new batch for Sunday but the bad news for late risers like me and don’t live in the area is that I will likely never taste it :(. I settled for the Carnitas burrito, which was huge and tasted good enough, but Like I said, there are several places closer to me with food just as good. The al pastor taco was the best tasting of the bunch, but yet again a bit of a drive for something I can get closer to home. The ladies gave me plenty of extra salsa and were so very nice about everything I will have to go back and try them again and hopefully get to try their menudo one day.

This is a small booth. There was outdoor space for you to sit down and eat. However, most people just came and pick up the food to go. I saw people bring their own pot to pick up to go food.

The menudo was the best menudo in the area two years ago. Now I already tried two times and the menudo is now the worse menudo you could ever find. The first time we (all the family) thought it was just a bad day but now we can definitely say the recipe is totally different and WRONG. It has all the wrong ingredients. The corn is disgusting! Is like they are serving it straight from the can, tastes horrible and it is not fully cooked! I definitely do not recommend to buy menudo at this place. I used to send all my friends their because of the delicious menudo but again, that was two years ago. I can not comment about the rest of the food because I never tried it.

Another reviewer mentioned that recently the menudo was tasteless. Too elaborate, I felt the broth was bland, which was good and bad. Good in that it was not over salted. Bad in that it did lack some flavor and definitely no spice. I had to add a lot more red pepper flakes than normal. But the chunks of meat were well cooked. Still good overall.

To be Honest I always bought Menudo here on weekends…Menudo was the greatest with the recent Male owner. Since he left Menudo Is NOT the same..Menudo is now Tasteless..Tastes like water, Definitely taste and quality are Not the same…Needs to be spiced up like before..This has been my personal experience for the last couple of months I have eaten menudo here.Not the best Menudo anymore

Went today at about 6:12AM after a long night of not sleeping at all. Got a large menudo and it turned out to be some of the best menudo that I’ve had in a very very long time! It’s very clean because the broth I got in it had a great balance between the red hue of the ground chili and the fat from the tripe, and the pieces of meat they give you in it are a great size because I like to have solid chunks of meat instead of little slivers like most Mexican places put in their menudo. I also make it myself at home with my mother in the same style so I’m happy to find a good spot to go to when I don’t have enough time to make it myself. It was also perfectly seasoned too and wasn’t super salty

I remember when this place was the best. Delicious food at great reasonable prices. Now the meat tastes like it was cooked the day before and left for the next day. Dry and tasteless. The bean n cheese was my favorite but now it all tastes old. Ended up giving the food to my dogs. I’m sorry but I will no longer hitting this spot up.
