This was our first stop in Challis Idaho. Food was good staff was great. Simple but complete menu. I had a blue cheese burger and frys. The place has history like the rest of the town. Have always loved this place before, but this time not so much. Service was good and pizza was delicious as always, but this place has gone downhill. Vents over tables were stacked with dirt and lint, seriously damaged and crumbling sheetrock directly over pizza building station in kitchen. Also noticed no gloves are worn when handling food. Don’t think I will be back.

The food is very good here. The customer service has gone way down since I was here last year. No silverware or napkins were offered. We ended up getting our own from behind the counter. We ordered 2 pizzas, a calzone, two orders of spaghetti, and a half and half order with ravioli and lasagna. One order of spaghetti came 30 minutes before any other food came out. When the rest of our order came we recieved the two pizzas (one was incorrect), the spaghetti, calzone, and 2 half and half meals.

Although there were few tables busy for a late lunch, our meal took almost an hour from order-to-service. My side salad never arrived. My friend’s sandwich arrived without bacon. The plate was returned 20 minutes later with the addition of undercooked bacon (inedible) and cold fries due to the delay. The waitress offered a 10% discount, but we should not have paid for this terrible experience.

Friendly staff. Nice menu selection. They only get 4 stars as they forgot my cheese on my meatball sandwich. No one came back so I could ask for the cheese. Small town establishment with great food.

Our first time in Challis, we were pleasantly surprised there food was great and couldn’t find a fresher salad bar. We will definitely make this a for sure stop when we come to town.

Great small town pizza place with friendly staff. They messed up on one of our pizzas and went way out there way to make sure everything was resolved. Also some great games to pass the time.
