Really delicious Indian food. I had the Samosa Chaat and an order of Garlic Naan. The Naan was hot, huge, and garlicky. I’ve had quite a bit of Naan in my day and this was as good as I’ve ever had. Samosa chaat was hot, fresh, and flavorful. Super nice folks running this place. The lady cooking this stuff totally slays it. You should go.

This is the tastiest Indian food I have ever eaten. The food had the perfect amount of heat and the layers of flavors kept coming. I’m no expert on the cuisine of the different regions of India, but I do know that this was insanely good. The mostly Indian customers agreed that this spot is legit.

Awesome Indian food! We were passing through Bakersfield during lunch hours and a random Google search led us to Apna Dhaba. For a party of two we ordered one each of Amritsari kulcha which came along with chole, garlic naan, tandoori chicken, dal makhani, raita (all dine in) and chilled kheer (to go). The food didn’t disappoint. Very soft melt in mouth tandoori food, the dal makhani was very light in tummy. We didn’t feel heavy after having all the delicious food. The kheer reminded us of homemade ones made back home in India. Very simple and delicious. Not overly sweet or kesar flavoured or heavy with dates & nuts. Highly recommend this place! They have an open shaded area to dine in.

Highly recommend the food here. We did a take out of shahi paneer and plain parathas. One of the best tasting paneer I have had in the US and very soft parathas. Gravy was rich without being too heavy and not sweet like most restaurants make it. Can’t wait to try other things when we are back in the area.

The food was really good and homely. They welcomed us like a kids and played with my both kids and gifted them too. The food price was very reasonable and my parents visiting from India loved it. We were four adults and two kids. We got 3 main curry’s, and roties. It cost us around $50. Thank you Uncle and Aunty ( Apna Dhaba). We will come again.
