Wonderful cute little place. People really nice. We are visiting so we got food to go to take the family. The food was okay. I really enjoyed my french toast . A couple of the biscuits was not done all the way. The gravy was okay. I think all this would have been better if we ate it there but we had a new grandson we was getting food to the parents.

Stopped for breakfast on my way though town and glad I did. Both the waffle and Jeff’s Special were delicious. The coffee was also so good I got some to go as well. Cheaper and tastier than any chain, make it a stop if you’re in town.

Wanted to try a new place to eat and this place did not disappoint. I got the lunch special with a sandwich, side, and a drink. The Mac and cheese was so good. The chicken salad sandwich was one of the best I have had. Don’t forget to try an Italian soda and look at all the fun antiques inside.

Love this place! had the best French toast ever!. Jeff was warm and friendly. The decor is country and cute. The French onion soup was divine and the Mac n cheese was to die for. The fruit bowl hit the spot! I’d high recommend Apple Barrel & Deli. We will be back soon!

The longer you sit the more you notice! This place is a little piece of history that also happens to serve some amazing Italian creme sodas and the best soup I’ve had in a long time. Seriously, try their homemade tomato basil, you won’t be disappointed!

I stopped in for a pastry and walked out with a slice of cake. The only cake they had at the time was cherry. To be honest I don’t even really like cherry but thought if I didn’t like it I would give it to my husband. To my surprise it was one of the best cakes I have EVER had. I even hid it in the vegetable drawer at home so no one else would find it.

Great sandwiches. We sat outside with our 2 dogs. Table serve outdoors. Very friendly and the best customer service I have seen since the pandemic started! They do allow substitutions. All the sandwiches are panenni style, but you can ask for a cold version instead. 2 meals with drinks and 20%tip under 30 dollars. Highly recommend! If you stop by Mountain Home, stop by Apple Barrel.
