This place is our “go to” for terriyaki and has been for years. Great food, generous portions and quick service. I regularly call ahead for carryout and 99% of the time, it’s ready when I walk in. Ordering again tonight actually!

So the special on the board said orange chicken teriyaki combo 13.95 I was charged 18.50 I specifically asked for the special. The teriyaki chicken was good the orange chicken was a day old and so hot it burned the top of my mouth five minutes after I started eating. The only way that you can get food this hot and not make it look that great is to stick it in a microwave. I’m not going to pay 18.50 for microwave food that is a day old. I do not recommend this place at all it has gone downhill.

The Japanese lady helping customers there must be under a lot of stress by her job. she’s being rude to me several times. I decided not to come back to this place ever again. she fails to see that her living depends on her business and her customers.

The owner lady was slammed with customers but she was so nice and apologetic when she was finally able to get to us. As always the food is amazing, and the owner is so friendly.

The food is great, but service is atrocious. I live across the street and have been eating here for over 10 years. The food has not declined much in quality over time, but the service definitely has. I showed up in person to order my food, only to realize I’d forgotten my wallet. The owner lady asked that I retrieve my wallet before continuing with my order, which I tried to reason that I would be right back to pay if only she could get started with my meal, to which she responded “when you bring money.” Honestly the biggest offense is that, again, I’ve been eating here for years, and I know that if I call my order in, it’ll be ready for me to pay for upon walking in. I don’t know what’s happened to make this woman so unreasonably rude, but it will ruin their establishment.

Good is good , but the lady was extremely rude. I purchase a pineapple Jarrito and when I open it the bottle was broke. Went to the counter and ask for a replacement, she refuse to gave me a refund or replace my drink, in which case I was like there no way am just getting ripped off. So I took it from the fridge and gave her the broken one. Ohh lord she went wild screaming at me saying it’s wasn’t my house and I was not educated, try to explain to her I was just grabbing a different as replacement for the broken one. My God save me from this Lady, she started saying I need to apologize to her and I was still shock, she even kicked me out and my party of 4 and asked us to never came back. What is this world coming to.

Super sad to say that the last two reviews were spot on. I used to love supporting this place but gosh I was treated sooo poorly when I asked for soy sauce and the owner woman said they didn’t have any. I was bummed but then just figured I’d ask for another gyoza sauce since it i figured it has soy sauce in it. She told me it’s not free and I said “well we just purchased $45 of food and we are sitting down to eat.” I didn’t have a quarter on me…so I asked if she could just put soy sauce in a little cup for me since she told me they made it here and it has soy sauce in it. She refused and so I went looking for a quarter. I didn’t have one. Just really shocked that she wouldn’t just give me a tiny cup of soy sauce nor would she give me an extra tiny cup of Gyoza sauce when we had spent plenty of money. I guess we are all small businesses because I have one, but really treating your customers will bode better than trying to get them to give you an extra $.25. Sadly I will not be returning.

Super rude owner woman. Went there for the first time with my elderly mom today and the chicken was not in small enough chunks for my mom to eat. I asked politely for a knife, and got a yelled lecture that “in 20 years we cut chicken the same way we don’t have knives at all”. The food isn’t good enough to put up with that kind of service and it’s expensive for what it is. Go elsewhere.

I have been a patron since they opened. I asked to sub chicken breast on a combo and was told no, I shared that I was happy to pay more, at which point I was yelled at saying no and they don’t do custom orders. When I told her she has no reason to be rude, she hung up. As of today I will never give them my business again. There are better options in downtown Redmond, Yummy Teriyaki and Sunny Teriyaki, this was convenient but I will drive the 5 extra minutes for service and quality. I will be certain to share this experience.
