One of the friendliest little Diners I’ve ever been to. Fantastic food, great service, the owner is always there and is also super friendly. I haven’t had anything disappointing. Took my coworker and he loved it as much as I do. All their soups are amazing. I think my favorite is the crispy chicken wrap with their homemade ranch dressing.

The Friday night fish fry is one of the best around. It is all you can eat and they don’t charge you for extra tarter sauce which a lot of other locations are doing now.

I recently did a pick up order from Apple Tree Family Restaurant. Let me say I’m new to the area and this gem of a restaurant was well hidden in the friendly community of Columbus. There’s a variety of food to choose from and believe me I’m kicking myself for not having the fish fry. My family and I ordered the chicken strips with fries, the chicken dinner, baked potato, salad and an appetizer of mozzarella sticks. My ONLY complaint was that I didn’t get napkins because everything was so finger licking delicious!

This is hands down the best breakfast in town! We have been to other restaurants but we keep coming back because the food is consistently great and the service is fast and friendly! Hats off to the waitresses and cooks!! I always get the sirloin and eggs with hash browns and French toast. Yummmmmmmy! We love Steph!

Driving through Columbus we saw the parking lot was active and full so decided to give it a try. So glad we did! A man who looked to be the owner was on hand contributing to the service and harmony of the well-staffed restaurant. Watching our server, Ayla, attend each table with her attention to detail was a pleasure, and it was obvious the other server was doing just as well with our neighboring tables. Everything we ordered was cooked exactly as we requested. Crispy American fries with onions, were perfectly browned. Please don’t well-cook the omelet, turned out a beautiful pale golden color. Bacon was delivered with any excess oil nicely dried off. We were served 2 bags of our herbal tea and Ayla made sure we had extra hot water at the right time. Reminiscent of “the old days” when I worked a diner and was proud of the food we served and making the customer feel their comfort was important
