This is the WORST location ever! We went to eat here one night and after waiting over an hour for our food we finally asked the waitress to please check on our food and then the manager came to our table saying our food had been given to someone else. They apologized over and over and told us they could remake our food and we declined. We were not going to wait again. They did give us two gift for the inconvenience. THEN we did a to go order the next night because we are visiting the area and the gift cards were only for that location. We understand it may have been a bad night the night before so we gave it another go. We picked up our to go order and that was wrong! We were missing sauce for mozzarella sticks and two sides from two different entrées. #dobetter

We had a great lunch at Applebee’s on Sunday. The food and service were excellent, and the prices were modest. We had a 6-Ounce Sirloin ($14.99), French Onion Soup ($5.49), Garden Salad ($4.99), Iced Tea ($3.39) and Coffee ($2.49). Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. A great place to stop in Galax.

It was so good. It wasn’t busy and the food was delicious. We ordered wings as an appetizer. They were perfect. Also had the bourbon street chicken and shrimp. My husband had a steak.

Our 1st order of wings were old & hard. I couldn’t eat them. Our waiter dropped by long enough to say he’d be with us in a moment & he never came back. The bartender decided to wait on us & then spent most of the time talking to the 3 men at the bar & leaving us sitting there with nothing to drink. Food was good but service was not that great. It was not our waitress, she was good. Place was not even half full and stood to wait and get table for 10 minutes. Some of the staff was just standing around talking to what seemed to be friends or boyfriends.

the service was excellent by the waitresses but the food was so bad, we were really hungry but we did not finish with the food, pictures will talk. The soups were microwave and dishes dirty, we asked for a medium well steak and it was medium rare, we think the tomato soup was not good anymore because my kid ended throwing it away . Even the Salad was different as it used to be long time ago. Hopefully they improve in the kitchen we ended so sad and disappointed.

The best thing about this was the women who sat us down. She was super friendly and we were sitted in a timely manner. Our waiter on the other hand was ehh he was maybe not even 20 but wasn’t to attentive to us. We didn’t get any napkins, we got served after another table came in after us and got their food first. When we paid we used a debit card but when he came back to give us the receipt he forgot to bring back our card to us, and I notified someone and they had to track him down, he was outside playing basketball. So service wise isn’t really worth going. But for the prices and food are basically the same as any other Applebees.
