When I visit my mom in Lakeland, this is one of our go-to places for lunch. I wish I could remember the manager’s name because I believe he is the reason this restaurant is so great. We always see him working next to all the staff, not just overseeing them, but helping them serve, host, clean up, and back in the kitchen to make sure everything is flowing awesome. The service, food, and atmosphere at this location is so much better than any other location I have been to. We just went there on Friday with my mom’s best friend since high school, who was down here for a visit, and she also felt that this was the best Applebee’s too.

Did online order. Order 8oz steak (got maybe a 4oz) 2 sides. Request medium, got well done. Honestly I think it was someone’s order from the day before and just reheated. Starting throwing up within 10 minutes of taking a bite.

Disappointed this time!!!! Usually my orders are almost perfect. Today, the chef on August 7, 2023, between 7-8PM needs to be replaced!!! I ordered the Blackened shrimp with fettuccine Alfredo and broccoli. The sauce is good, the broccoli OVERCOOKED and limp. Worst is the Cajun shrimp…. which has maybe 2% Blackened spices!!!! Extremely Disappointed!!!!! What’s the point in ordering a Blackened dish when there is zero Blackened!!!!!

Food was so-so. Typically what you’d expect in a chain restaurant for quality. A bit hit or miss based on what you choose. Server Andy was awesome and super accommodating. Family-friendly and good place for a quick decent meal overall.

The server was not very attentive at all and when I asked for a to go cup of unsweetened tea black girl with an attitude, gave me sweet tea and rolled her eyes when I told her I was a diabetic and couldn’t drink sweet tea. The other server gave me an unsweetened tea.what is wrong with all these restaurants now a days. Seems they all could care less about any standards they all once had. I will probably not go back to this place. I can just stick to the restaurants that give care about their customers and standards. Sad.. the days of respect and caring are long gone.

I understand why there are only like three Applebees left. First off the building looked really old both the exterior and interior, It looked just like 1987.What I didn’t understand was how did they make the food Also look old? I paid $15 for the most awful looking burger I’ve ever seen it was supposed to be a double cheeseburger with bacon. It had two little tiny pieces of bacon, not a strip, but he tiny piece of bacon, and the incredibly small patties were very overcooked. Also had the boneless wings which weren’t the worst but weren’t that great either,,microwavable food. Would not recommend it.However, the waitress lady was very nice and very good at her job kudos to her.
