We had a group of 20 people on a Wednesday night. We called ahead and said they could accommodate. After arriving, they were clearing under staffed. The drinks ordered at the bar took 45 minutes to get because the bartender was “slammed”. There were not many other people there. I ordered a beer and after an hour of not receiving it, I canceled it and got a water. After 1 hour and 45 minutes, our food came out. The mushroom burger I ordered had the plate very hot. The bottom bun was crispy. Obviously had been sitting on a warmer for a long time. The manager offered 5 free desserts for 20 people. What a slap in the face and none us took them. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that pays attention to their customers.

Usually the food is great! We dined on the Westside this time. Hair was found on !! When replaced it was sour tasting g! Nachos had very little meat yet heavy on sour cream! The chicken in the Bourbon dish tasted of soap!

I had curbside to go and after a 10 hr workday I was hungry and looking forward to my Crispy Chicken Salad . So disappointed ordered Honey Mustard Dressing and got Ranch . The Salad was all Lettuce very Little Chicken and it was $14 this Salad looks like a 4 year old made it .

We arrived there were only a few customers it’s 2 pm I know it’s the slow time I’ve worked as a general manager before. The table was disgusting very sticky, it took 28 minutes to get our food, the bathrooms were disgusting sears covered in urine, the manager comes to our table and ask us how things were. I told her the food is cold fries cold my wonton cold, only part that was good was my co-workers burgers, she offers to remake the fries and we decline saying we already waited forever for our food. She then say we’ll I’m the only cook and walks off within attitude. Needless to say we will never return here or recommend to anyone. I understand being understaffed but as a manager myself I jump in to help when and as needed to be able to satisfy the customers. It’s obvious the manager she did not care.

We waited several minutes to even be greater after coming in, and just as we were about to walk out and go next door, someone came up to seat us. Our server was pleasant and did try, but 2 things we tried ordering were not even available from the kids’ menu, which is very limited as it is. The rest of our orders tasted just ok.

Granted….we did go in a bit after the dinner hour making it much easier on the staff to keep up, but the experience was so wonderful with fantastic service we actually felt like we were in the “neighborhood bar and grill”.

My waitress was busy as they were short staffed due to call-ins, but I was promptly served and she went out of her way to make me a cherry Pepsi. The food was out quickly and Corey cooked. Thanks Utah for going above and beyond and caring.

I never give bad reviews, but someone needs to take notice of what’s happening here. It’s unfortunate that the service industry cannot find help, but closing the restaurant early would be better than trying to operate without a staff or properly trained staff. Please take note Applebee’s GM. We arrived about 7:30 pm and left the restaurant about 9:30. This had to be one of my worst dining experiences ever. Waitress told us they were short staffed when she came to the table, but there was only 4 tables of people eating. My chicken sandwich and fries was worse than gas station food. Others in our party of 8 had steaks that were so bad that they were not able to eat them. It was a two hour experience to order food and get it with maybe 2-3 tables of customers in the restaurant. Waitress seemed very inexperienced without much training. My water was never refilled, a beer was never even brought out from the original order, but was put on the check. She never really was around to even ask for drinks.$31 and change for a small salad and an overcooked chicken sandwich with nasty fries that had to be drowned in ketchup just to eat. I also have never had silverware just dumped out on a table without being rolled or on a napkin.

I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this is honestly the worst service I have ever experienced. We waited at our table for about 20 minutes before the assistant manager had to get our drink order. We then sat there for another 10 minutes before our server ever even came to our table. We saw her probably three times in the hour and a half we were there and the food was horrible. Only half of our entrees came out at first and those were cold. I’m not sure if it was the kitchens fault or the fact it was 55 degrees in the restaurant. By the time the other half of our entrees came out 10 minutes had passed and we were finished with our meal. I don’t understand how this Applebees is still open because every time I go, the service is always this bad.
