Their menu has changed. Their French dip is now served with onion soup instead of au jus. The spinach dip was barely warm. Breads not toasted. Far removed from the much loved Fench Dip. Cost have gone up for less quality. Ordered dipper with NO onion…why would we want onion mush to dip it in? Marlo is an awesome waitress. Friendly, fast, and attentive service. We’ve only had great experiences here. I didn’t catch the hostesses name but she was very friendly too. She has sat us multiple times. We appreciate the staff we have interacted with. Good food and drinks, plus we got Indiana Jones tickets lol

Totally wish I could give half stars because I’d go with a 3.5 overall. The food and service is kinda hit or miss just depending on the day and time you go in. We like to go for the half price appetizers and dinner. We’ve had great service and great food sometimes and not so great service and food at other times. If you go during a time when they’re doing the endless shrimp (or endless anything) the food isn’t going to be as good, service is going to be shotty and the other customers are irritated and short-fused due to wait times and short staffing. If you have kids, bring your own crayons because they don’t have any crayons for kids.

I’ve been to this Applebee’s location in Cameron Park many times over the years and it’s consistently a mixed experience. On some occasions the food and service is great and on others it is lacking. I pretty much just sit at the bar when I get off work late. Special happy hour pricing 3-6pm AND 9pm-close. A Long Island is under $6. Appetizers are seriously discounted. The Bartenders are really, really nice and attentive. They work hard so please tip generously.

Took 40 minutes to get seated even though there was hardly anyone in there nd I could see open sets everywhere. Hostes had no personality, chips were stail and look like a came out of a bag of chips. The food was good though and our server was great as well.
