With party of 5 retired, very civil professionals. Had extended dispute with manager over meat served to two of us. Manager was intransigent, insisting that the meat served was satisfactory, although tough, due to its cooking style. I informed the manager that I’ve never experienced such treatment at a restaurant. The manager was very firm and resolved not to entertain my complaint as valid. Will never patronize this restaurant.

First, the decor of the place is magnificent. They’ve really captured the feel of a fine restaurant in Kailua-Kona; this is not a Tiki bar. Full of ambient light (which is no small thing in Western Oregon).
