Decided to try this historic little hotdog restaurant, since it has been around for so long and seems to be a popular spot for locals! I went inside to order a beef hotdog with mustard and sauerkraut to go – a standard. Service was fast and friendly, hotdog was nice and hot. The hotdog itself was OK, it was a little soft for a beef hotdog, I like a little bit more snap, like a Sabretts. I also like the bun toasted, but I know that is not traditional- even in NYC. They are known for their homemade chili dogs – so I will try that next time. They have a lot of other menu choices, good prices, a small eat in area and a drive thru – that seemed very efficient – great for a short lunch break.

The food and service was great! The prices were so reasonable which is really rare these days. I’d recommend a complete renovation of the building and infrastructure, as it has been seriously neglected. If the building had a clean, up to date appearance, the business would certainly increase.

I ordered a Philly cheese steak this Sandwich had nothing but cheese and veggie hardly any meat.. it was worst philly I ever tasted.. I no good food I’m from Memphis and don’t waste time going there.. I call in the manager’s oh no she said comes already in portions.. what the heck least give customers what they pay for.. paid almost $11 for just sandwich..
