Fun family night out and Arby’s was part of it. If you lived in Interior Alaska for the last 20+ years you might remember not having Arby’s right at your fingertips when you wanted it unless you drove to Anchorage for some or had a friend bring some back.

I cannot review the food as I have still not had Arby’s. However, I was in the drive through last night at 10. I sat there for 10 minutes while the car in front of me didn’t move. In the parking lot there were two vehicles, I’m assuming there were only two people working. Anyways, another vehicle pulls up and one of the workers, a younger girl, runs out to see what they need. Meanwhile another worker, some guy, comes out and she asks him to help with this and he’s a total jerk to her. She looked really stressed and like she was holding the whole store together. I give her a full 5 stars, she deserved it. However, the other guy who decided he needed to “take a break” 30 minutes before closing… I’m not as impressed with. Obviously, I only saw this small interaction so I’m not saying he’s a bad guy, but I hope the girl working last night gets some sort of appreciation.

Took forever to get greeted despite being the only customer in the lobby and then they couldn’t figure out how to handle a coupon. Food tasted like it had been sitting around for hours. But the staff were friendly (when they finally acknowledged me). I’ve had far better Arby’s experiences, and it’s not that amazing of food to go out of my way for – at least not at this location.

The university store has the cleanest drive through than any restaurant in m Fairbanks and it’s in a really great location with tons of parking.

This location is personally my favorite, maybe even of all Arby’s out there. The staff are almost always friendly and outgoing, and I have rarely had a mistake or missing condiments on any of my many orders. I often drive by on the way home for a snack and a few of them recognize me even from voice surprisingly. They don’t have to go that extra step but they do. Even when dining in, it’s a very clean and relaxed atmosphere.

First, let me start off by saying I love the food at Arby’s . For the most part, anyway. I will say that the quality of food up here in Alaska isn’t the same as its counterparts in the States. But to be fair and honest, it’s kind of that way with every place up here. But for the prices as high as they are, I would think that the staff would go above and beyond to be friendly, accommodating, and polite. I was shocked by how extremely unprofessional the staff are here. It’s almost not adequate to say that they are very rude and extremely unhelpful. I tried to use the Arby’s app to get a deal they offered, and was told that they “didn’t know how to do that” and then I was told they could “give me a military discount instead”. Which equaled NOWHERE near the discount i was asking for. When i asked if i could speak to the person in charge, i was informed, RUDELY, that this man was THE MANAGER. Finally, I suggested that if they weren’t able to ring up the deal because he didn’t have the knowledge to do so, perhaps they should just give us the things for free. ( the deal was for a 99 cents four piece mozzarella stick btw) after attempting to get us to say forget it a couple other ways, they finally gave in and gave it to us for free, but not before making it VERY clear that we were a serious inconvenience to them. Sum of the story: they were rude. They were not WILLING work with us at all and made us feel like jerks for wanting to be charged the advertised price. As far as terrible customer service goes, this ranks up in my top (or would it be bottom lol) 10 for fast food restaurants.

Went to arbys today for a crispy chicken sandwich. There’s has always been one of the best. Sooo disappointed today…they are about 1/4″ inch thick now so tiny!! They had a good sized piece of chicken before and now they’re paper thin but the price is still the same! Very disappointed! The flavor was still good but it’s a shame they are so small now won’t be getting that again! Always went there to get just that sandwich!

My wife gets a regular deluxe (lettuce tomato and mayo) every time we eat here. Last time, the employee told me it does not exist I explained that she gets it every time we come then someone else spoke over the drive through intercom and told me it would cost an extra dollar for each lettuce, tomato and mayo. I went across the street to McDonald’s and got dinner.

The food was lukewarm at best and French fries cold. We probably won’t return. We prefer the arbys over by Walmart
