30 minute wait turned into 1hr then 1.5hrs. No communication that it was going take that long even after I went in and asked what the deal was. Just that it was going to take longer and nothing they could do. Would not have ordered online if I knew it was going to take that long. Too hungry and too late to go anywhere else. I strongly suggest going in to order.

We were passing through on our way back home from VT to NJ and stopped into Archie’s for lunch. The vibe is laid back, and the decor was simple but inviting. We read a poster on the wall as we walked in that tells the story behind the restaurant, which was a nice touch. We ordered cheeseburgers and fries, which were all cooked perfectly, fresh and super tasty. The staff was friendly, and our food was ready quickly. I loved seeing a local business thrive and support other local businesses as well. Even their hand soap in the restroom was organic and locally made. This was a great little find on our journey, and I would definitely recommend you check it out if you are in the area.

It took a while for food we ordered to be ready, but we’ll worth the wait! Everything our group ordered was outstanding: New England clam chowder, tomato bisque, fish and chips, burger and sweet potato fries. Extra added bonus was the wonderful homemade ice cream next door!

Food was just okay for the price. I expected a better lunch for 2 people for close to 60 bucks, and that’s with only one cocktail. I could make better wings at home. The flatbread was just okay. My mom had a burger and that was really good, but the onion rings were waybtoo greasy. The service was friendly and the atmosphere is good, but the food could be better.

I have never left a negative review in my life. I have worked in food service. Reviews suggested that they have fixed their issues with order flow. Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our hamburger and fry order. And then, when they did arrive, fries arrived cold. No apologie from staff. They did remake them. Definitely did not feel valued as a guest. Stunning that waiting over an hour is their expectation of customers. Really bummed. Have heard they do good things with burgers. Other guests on the patio began talking with each other. Seems there were multiple order problems, food partially coming out. Waiting more than an hour. One guest says that the only way to get food there is to order online. It takes 20 minutes and they prioritize online orders. Sure this must be wrong… Not worth the wait….bummer.

We loved it. Squeaky clean and great fresh food. The hot fog and the chicken sandwich were crisp and delicious. We took another mozzarella sticks since it was so good. Great double IPA beer too. Plenty of sitting I side and outdoor and great service.
