I love this restaurant’s food but unfortunately Every time I come they employees have the front door locked and the open sign on. Today I got there at 6:38 the door was locked again and after knocking for approximately 3 minutes and being ignored, I proceeded to call and being refused business because they were “closing” the employees changed their mind when I told them I would be talking to the owners.

I went in to ask if they sold fruit plates. The lady rudely pointed with her finger without saying a word. She shoved the fruit plate into a bag and I paid 8 dollars. 8 dollars for completely rotten fruit. Here’s a comparison between them and la Michoacána where I went right after. Disappointed

So disappointed in this place they must have changed ownership because I have been coming here for years and this is not there torta de asada I would always get. This is like carne desebrada with a gross tasting seasoning plus hardly any meat. They just lost me as a customer, I will be taking my business across the street to Rebecca’s juice bar!

The best tortas for me compared to many many many places. Get a torta and a smoothie, you will come out that place very satisfied. Mom and pop shop vibe. Everything is made on the spot so wait times can vary depending if it’s busy. But most the time it has not been bad for me. I would say it’s worth any wait.

Ordered 4 tortas, ham, tuna and asada(2), did not like how asada was cut up in little pieces like leftovers. Other tortas were good. Horchata was foamy but drinkable. I’m sure we will be back to try more items.
