I was visiting Portland for one night and came here, sat at the counter by myself. The staff was super friendly. The menu was creative, fun with impressive dishes. The food was delicious, especially the burrata and the spaghetti with roasted morels. I’d love to go back next time I’m visiting Portland!

We reserved a table to celebrate my birthday in Arden. We were led to a quiet and cozy table upon checking in. It was very considerate and well gestured by the host. We ordered the prix fixe 4 course meal. Each course was decorated delightfully. We especially liked the trout. I normally don’t like trout because of the muddy taste. This one is cooked perfectly and tasted very delicious. The desserts were very good as well. I would have given a 5 star if the bacons and some of the sauce were a little less salty.

Excellent experience in our first night in Portland. Every blog & webpage recommended this place and they were right. Every single dish was perfectly executed. We ordered the chef’s fix with wine pairing and that was the right choice. Especially for the spaghetti with nori and shiitake mushrooms with dashi broth and the trout with brown butter and fish sauce.

Arden is a lovely date night spot, smack dab in the middle of the Pearl. The restaurant and bar is small and very intimate but feels classy. When I went most people their were wearing button up shirts or a blazer.
