While on a long layover I tried Argentina’s Best Empanadas. Although well labeled on Google Maps, I had trouble finding it…more my navigation than anything to do with the restaurant or Google Maps, LOL. I add this fact because this part of SLC has some fun and colorful stores/streets that make the walk enjoyable and builds a nice appetite for these empanadas.

YUM! We got a chicken and beef empanada. I would recommend beef over chicken, it they were both good. The pastry is so yummy!! It’s light and flaky! The beef was well seasoned and delicious! We also go the chocolate Charrua and my husband ate them before I even got to try them!

Uhhh… SO AMAZING!! I crave Argentinian or Uruguayan food and this place hit the flavor profile PERFECTLY. Everything is fresh, same-day and flavorful. They nailed the combo of savory, acidic and sweet with great textures. So. Stinkin. Good!

Not open during posted business hours. My son and I really wanted to try this restaurant’s empanadas, and had planned on getting a dozen to go. However, we arrived at 12:29 Saturday and the store was dark and the door locked, with no one inside. There was no note on the door or any notice of business hour change on their website or FB.
