Cute Afghani restaurant in Midtown. Loved their kabuli pulao/rice with lamb kababs. Yoghurt drink is delicious too. Owner was very nice and offered us Afghani bread with yoghurt dip. Keep cash as their card machine does not always work. They will send you to ATM so be prepared.

Very authentic feel and taste. I would definitely come back. Non alcoholic drinks (happy tea, Dough)were unique and tasty. Potato curry was good especially with the added hot sauce. Long grain rice seems to be the base for all the plates and it very tasty on its own.

The well-made food was out of this world. It tasted as great as food you would normally find in afghanistan. Would highly recommend the lamb steak. The service was also on point as almost every 3-5 min they would check up if everything was going precisely. Lastly, the atmosphere was great as it showed Afghan culture.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant (I went in December 2022 and forgot to write my review). While the decor was beautiful, the food and service were both extremely disappointing. The food was very basic and I could’ve easily cooked it myself at home. It didn’t seem like authentic Afghani food. The host/server (yes, he was the same person) was also very rude and unprofessional, rushing us and other customers to order, eat, and leave. To top it off, he failed to mention at the beginning that he only accepts cash. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for quality food and good service. I’m surprised that it has a 4 star rating
