I got an order of Lamb Vindaloo and garlic Naan as takeout. The lamb and potatoes were tender but there was not a lot of flavor there. It was boring. The worst part of the meal was the Naan. It was undercooked, with raw dough in the middle. Not a single piece was edible. It went straight in the trash. I have serious doubts about an Indian place that cannot get Naan right.

Its OK, kinda bland, not spectacular. Its on a par with the Kebab restaurant, but if you want some authentic, flavorful, Indian goodness check out the Red Hook Curry House. It may be a trek from Poughkeepsie, but trust me, you will not be disappointed. Their food is fantastic, and they have an actual tandoori oven.

We used to LOVE Kismat — Have been eating there for years. I believe it has changed hands in the last 4 months or so, however. The last time we ordered take out, it was not the same girls answering the phone, but rather, a man who barely spoke English. He got our entire order wrong, we got nothing that we ordered.
