I am really puzzled by my visit to the Chicagoland area. I expected really, and I mean REALLY, good pizza. This isn’t my first visit, by any means. I tried four different pizza joints and walked away wanting better. Armand’s was no different. The crust was more than crispy, it was almost kind of chewy. The venue was very loud which made for an unrelaxing meal. We could hardly carry a conversation, so I just watch people, a group of four couples and their kids. One of the men seemed to be very disengaged from the others. I wondered, did he have a bad day, is he having an affair, was he just tired? I don’t know, but I digress. The waitress was attentive and kind and so we tipped her well. Maybe next visit I’ll find better pizza.

Stopped in here on a Friday around 5pm as we were walking down York Rd, we sat outside. Service was great, food was great and drinks were great. It was our first time visiting this location and will not be the last. Pizza was fantastic, the crust was so thin and crispy. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive.

This review is based on my experience with recent takeout pizzas. The pizzas have consistently been super thin and soft, especially in the middle. So thin and soft in the middle that it’s not easy to pick up and the easiest way to eat it is to just fold it over. The ingredients are sparse and unevenly distributed such that some slices have ingredients and some slices little to none. Additionally, I usually order easy cheese, but like with the ingredients, the cheese is unevenly distributed with some slices having no cheese at all. Armand’s used to be my favorite takeout pizza in Elmhurst. Paying almost $40 for a pizza’s made like this is very disappointing.

Ordered a thin crust that needed more sauce. Pizza was a bit dry and the toppings where bunched or bare. Good pizza spots have a quality system and spread the toppings out evenly. Just an okay spot if you want something quick and easy.

My GF’s patient suggested Armand’s in Elmhurst, so we tried it …what a great suggestion it was! Just a great laid back neighborhood feel, with a comfortable, cozy decor. Food we had was definitely above average. Cannot wait to get back and try some of their other offerings. Service was provided by Gina, and she was exceptional. So, if you’re in the area, give Armand’s a try…you won’t regret it!

Elmhurst location let’s say never been a fan but, now I don’t think I’ll return…. Most beers we asked for weren’t available since the supplier hadn’t made a delivery…. Wine choice was down to 1. Settled on old fashioned and a glass of wine and when I got the bill there were 2 up charges to the old fashioned which made it exceed $15 for a 4 oz drink topped with ice…. Whoa…. Wine choice was horrible and waitress was told about it and she removed it. Got charged for it as well. $5.50 for a Coors light must be normal for a pizza place these days. Total bill $220 with tip for 4 adults with a small takeout box of pizza left only because it was overloaded with red pepper and when asked we were told that’s how we make them… sorry your not gourmet pizza by any stretch and not worth the cost of the drinks served either

Some of the worst pizza ever. Armand’s is normally okay but lately it has been super thin with no sauce and a touch of cheese. It’s almost half the pizza it used to be. This was also over cooked.

Elmhurst location is fantastic. Stopped in for some food and drinks and was not disappointed. Ordered the Arrabbiata Pizza Nov because I was curious based on another review I read and it was as spicy as I expected it to be. Even if I didn’t know what type of pizza this was, I would have expected it to be spicy based on it stating as spicy on the menu. I would definitely order the Arrabbiata Pizza Nova again. Also ordered a cheese and sausage and it was perfect. Drinks, food and service was great and I definitely recommend this location.

We ordered takeout on a Tuesday for their BOGO free thin crust pizza. The crust was thin and crispy, well done and delicious. It is a hell of a deal for some good tasting pies.
