Bestie and I went for dinner. Had white sangria for drinks which were marvelous. My steak was perfectly done and delicious. Staff was very friendly and it was very comfortable and unrushed. The earlier you get there the better, small and popular.

Low key and delicious. On a Friday we arrived at five before 4:00 (open) and the parking lot was half full and there was a line at the door. I had the 14 oz prime rib that was WONDERFUL AND was soft as butter. The French onion soup was large and well seasoned. My husband ate his whole ribeye without steak sauce and had no gristle. We ordered the Reese’s PB pie for dessert. It’s not made in house, but it’s rich and exactly what you want in a dessert to finish your meal. When back in town we will definitely be back! Note: whole party must be present to be seated.

I didn’t realize what a hidden gem this place was. I got an email from Only In Ohio and they featured this steak house. We tried it based on the article and are we happy we did. The building outside doesn’t look like much but don’t drive past! The whole staff was friendly and very attentive. Our steak was cooked perfectly and the shrimp cocktail was great! The cocktail sauce had just enough heat to it. It was National IPA Day so of course my husband had a Truth brought out with a cold glass. They take reservations but only for groups of 6 or more. They were so busy (a sign of how great everything is). You can get salads and burgers but we treated ourselves. It’s a little pricey but the quality of food and the staff definitely made it worth the money.

Was exactly the kind of place I enjoy. Small restaurant with lots of wood features. Our server Sharon was very friendly and attentive! The food was excellent right down to the vegetable which was actually a seasoned prepared dish not just heated up. The price was what you would expect to get a full quality staff great food and a pleasant atmosphere.

An old school steakhouse with perfectly executed food in an unassuming roadside joint. I stopped in with a friend who happened to be driving through the area, and I couldn’t be more pleased that we found ourselves at Arnie’s. While the place didn’t look all that special from the outside, the 30 minute wait on a Wednesday night should tell you this is the place to be. Grab a drink at the bar until your table is ready. We started with a shrimp cocktail and French onion soup, both of which were textbook versions. Classic and delicious. I had the petite filet and shrimp scampi special. The steak was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The shrimp were fresh and tender as well – so many places overcook them into rubbery disappointment, but they know how to do it. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Prices are pretty reasonable given that they mainly serve steaks and seafood. Overall I will gladly make the 30 minute drive again. Arnie’s is a local treasure and so worth it.

Don’t waste your time or money. We went for a late lunch/early dinner. It was overpriced – grilled chicken sandwich, a NY strip on special and two iced teas – 72.00. If the food was stellar you wouldn’t mind the price, but chicken sandwich was tasteless and bun was stale on top and soggy in the middle. Steak had lots of grisle, although the seasoning wasn’t bad. Worst of all, was how incredibly rude the server (Ashley) was – I used to be a server and NEVER would treat a guest the way she did, especially not first time (and now only time) visitors. Definitely worth missing…just drive on by!
