All the food was much better than expected. In particular, the crab fried rice is the best fried rice I’ve ever tasted in my life! And Thai donuts is crazy!!! The service is also great. This is a restaurant that seems to have many regulars 🙂

I did like the food although level 7 hotness seemed like 10. I can tolerate pretty spicy food and usually level 7/10 is good enough for me but last time when I ordered drunken noodles, it was extremely hot that I could feel it in though my god pipe. Also to mention, the place had a typical fishy smell which was not very pleasant.

Based on a takeout order, this Thai restaurant serves a better than average version of popular dishes. The staff was polite and prompt when I picked up the food. The parking in front is a bit awkward but there’s plenty of parking at the adjacent Vons lot. Recommended.

When they say authentic Thai food that’s exactly what you get. Many items are imported directly from Thailand to maintain authenticity.

The texture is there, however , I wouldn’t call this authentic except for the curry dish which I don’t have in the picture. The fried rice tasted good! The reason for the three stars instead of higher because the pad thai just didn’t cut it as well as the spring rolls.

The food here is wonderful. Everything is so flavorful and delicious! We’ve had a variety of dishes and loved every single one. Honestly I think they have the best peanut sauce for their spring rolls wish I lived closer to here so I could go back for more!!

Great little spot! The food was very good and the staff was friendly. Some of the best red curry I’ve had in the area. Also, a lot Thai places I’ve been in San Diego are shy about adding too much heat, not here! I ordered the drunken noodles with a 7/10 hotness and my mouth was on fire. Be advised!

We got their Thai tea, Thai Coffee, and sausage fried rice. the drinks were too sweet for my taste but I think its usually like that in any Thai restaurants. The fried rice was delicious and I like that they confidently say that their fried dishes are “cooked-to-order”. We tried another nice-looking Thai place last night and their food just didn’t seem like Thai food. It was too mellowed down and sweet. On the other hand, Aroi has its own characteristic interior and the food tasted fresh and more flavorful. Service was nice, too!
