EVERYTHING was delicious! The masala dosa was the best. The pani puri could use a little more potato, but still excellent. The butter chicken is divine, and the samosa are delish. My daughter and I love to go here and have so much fun trying new things as well as revisiting our favorites (like butter chicken).

We ordered chef special biryani for takeout. Its the worst ever. The biryani is smelling very bad. We couldn’t eat it at all. It looks like they are serving 2-3 days old biryani microwaved and packaged. I’m not sure how they still have license to sell food.

I LOVE Aroma! They are the only Indian restaurant in the Knoxville area that offers samosa chaat. The dish was the perfect balance of flaky and soft. My husband ordered the kebabs and despite being born in the Indian subcontinent (and accustomed to spicy food) he was surprised at the heat (in a good way!). I highly recommend Aroma for authentic and fresh Indian cuisine served in a clean and welcoming environment. I’d also like to thank the staff for their gracious and sincere service. We will return! ❤️

I ordered chicken korma, goat curry, palak paneer & malai kofta. Food was ok! Gravy to malai kofta & korma was good, palak paneer was I don’t know what! Goat curry was average! People working were nice & polite!

I would love to give Aroma a higher score but my order of lamb Korma contained only about 6 small pieces of lamb and the rest of the HUGE bowl was just lots and lots of curry, almost like a soup. I had to go searching for more pieces of meat, only to be disappointed that there were none to be found.

Great staff and service. The chutney and onions they bring out are amazing. I heard good things and really wanted to try this place. The korma was delicious, but the giant chunks of chicken did not taste like they were cooked in the korma. They were also bland and a little tough. The chicken tasted like it was just tossed in at the last minute.

This is my favorite “go-to” place in town. This is a charming comfortable atmosphere with great staff. The food is always delicious and the menu explains enough about the dishes that a first time visitor or someone not familiar with Indian cuisine won’t feel daunted. Try the Samosa Chat, it’s a bowl full of Mumbai street food goodness. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been told it’s the best Indian in Knoxville, and I agree! We got black pepper goat as an appetizer and butter chicken and extra spicy lamb vindaloo as our entrees-all were wonderful. The garlic naan is a must!!!
