Cool looking location. They had good wine sections. Unfortunately, the app we wanted they ran out of meatballs for at 7pm on a Saturday. So, we skipped apps. The salad was as really good. The pasta which was a special could have been hotter and took awhile to get. I like to take my time. However, we did not see the waiter very often in between the wait and had to ask for refills. An overall OK visit. No highs or lows.

This was our first time at Arooji’s Wine room and for a Saturday night it was surprisingly empty but honestly, we didn’t mind since it added to the intimate feel which we do enjoy. We ordered a few different appetizers and entrees and compared to other Italian restaurants in the Charlotte area we feel the food underwhelmed, we are not saying that it was not good just giving our honest opinion as compared to other restaurants. The service by the staff was top notch and there was never an empty glass of water, wine or dirty dish on the table. Their attentiveness to every detail should be applauded and this added to our lovely evening at Arooji’s.

I think it must’ve been an off night. It was a Wednesday night. My daughter and I were enjoying an evening out. I was surprised that things haven’t changed. We have been frequenting Aroojis for many years. The wine selection seems to have diminished. The oven was out so we weren’t able to get toast bread until I complained that it tasted stale. He stated that he did the best he could and brought it back to us and it was perfect. No one was in the restaurant tonight and I was surprised by that. As I said, we love a Aroojis. . We want Steve to do well and hope that this was just an off night. The food was OK. It just wasn’t what I remembered.

Wonderful interiors. The decor needs to be appreciated and you can visit this place just to feel the ambience. Customer service was excellent. They took around 15-20 to serve the food. The taste was good. Alfredo pasta was so creamy and delectable. The gyro tasted good too. Meat was well cooked.
