A nice homey spot slightly off the beaten path in Augusta. Arsenal isn’t right off broad Street like many of the great spots in that area so expect less people and usually no wait. They do provide outside seating when the humidity isn’t being so oppressive. The food is pub style fare with a focus on sandwiches and comfort foods such as perogies, loaded tots, and small plates. The highlight is the build your own grilled cheeses. The amount of beers you can try is really impressive, they typically have 120+ beers to choose from some on tap, some on draft, and some cans and bottles. Additionally, they rotate weekly so you’ll be sure to find something you can enjoy. The staff and general manager were helpful and engaging the entire visit and the vibe was chill and friendly. I would definitely recommend visiting when you’re in the area.

Try the wings! They are big! Tots and pretzels are delicious. I love any seasonal cocktails they have and I try to try something different each time. Good beer and whiskey selection for the hubby! Multiple seating areas 2 patios on either side of the building. One patio is more of a court yard that is covered with a fan and heater for colder times. Inside there is a room that is more like a lounge and then the main seating area. Staff is always kind and has good suggestions!

Very chill vibe and great for connecting with friends or for date night. 4 stars because the pace is a little slow at times but there are good people and a wide variety of types of beers that rotate. Snacks and small plate options that are super tasty! Fav food options are pretzel bites and beer cheese, Arsenal sandwich, or the house salad which is surprisingly large. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Can also check them out on untapped.

Pubby. What a great little neighborhood “pub”! Tucked into a small walkable commercial area near Augusta U. Somerville campus Arsenal Taproom delivers food and drinks in a very friendly manner. An awesome and creative beer menu but don’t overlook the full bar and food options. The food menu is pretty limited but expertly handled, my grilled Gouda with sautéed onions and mushrooms was incredible. I think my favorite thing was the way they paired each drink with very specific glasses to enhance your drinking experience.

Had a great time tonight at The Arsenal. My husband and I went with our friends to just hang out. The food was amazing. We had great service. Multiple waiters came and checked on us. My glass was never empty and their recommendations on beer was spot on. I can’t remember everyone’s name but I do remember Alex was awesome with service and great recommendations. We will definitely be back!!

Love the vibe of this place. They have several different seating option. You can sit outside, especially when the weather is nice. They also put out heaters when the weather is chilly. The inside has a lounge area with couches and the main dining has long wooden community table, plus bar seating. Tonight we had the loaded tots. All the tots I’ve had here so far have been great. They kick up all your childhood joys like tots and grill cheese and make them great and nostalgic. The beer and wine list is extensive. The beer menu can also be located on the untapped app. For beer lovers, you know what I’m talking about. They also have seasonal rotating menus so there is always something new on the menu. I would definitely recommend coming and enjoying the beer, wine, food and overall good time.

What a great find! Our sandwiches were crazy good. Great selection of craft cocktails and huge selection of craft beers. If you’re in Augusta, Ga the Arsenal Tap Room is a must experience place. If I live here I’d be there often!

The food was amazing the drinks are delicious from the mixed drinks to the specialty beer. We came here for my brother’s birthday. We tried the blackberry mojito… the garnish is necessary since they don’t particularly muddle the mint and berries but once you do it yourself the drink woke up. We also tried the Tuscan sandwich and the Philly they were both AHHHHHH-MAZING! They were really fresh and good cuts of meat. We also had a build your own grilled cheese which was equally delicious but their special sandwich’s are the star of the show. We also had pretzel bites they were ok. I’d get them again but they weren’t anything special. We also had corn nuggets they were very good and I I liked the dip they came with which was surprise. Lastly we had loaded tots and loaded sweet potato tots hold the chili. The loaded sweet potato tots were delicious. The sweet with a little spice, cheese, and bacon was fantastic. The loaded tots were good but you’ve had loaded tots before and this was that with really fresh toppings but just regular good. The place is set up to be communal on the inside and the inside covered patio. I liked that they had a room with couches where you could relax with friends while having a beer. He wait staff was really friendly and nice but our waitress was slow to check on us. Not sure if it’s because it’s not meant to be a restaurant but still I would have liked to be checked in on a little more.
