The ambience is nice, but this place does not live up to the hype. The Caesar salad was bitter, the fried mozzarella tasted like it was out of a freezer box, and the spicy rigatoni tasted like burnt garlic. The only saving Grace for this meal was the meatballs we added to the rigatoni, which were amazing. The waiter also forgot to put in our fried mozzarella order so we got it after we had our meal.

I got the Clams Oreganata appetizer, the lemoncello spritzer, and the spicy rigatoni alla vodka (known to be a favorite). My boyfriend got Spaghetti & Meatballs. Everything was excellent! Spritzer is refreshing, clams were great.. you get way more than I thought (8) and if you like clams casino, you’ll like them. The spicy rig seemed to be the go-to so I went with that and it was so good. If you’re sensitive to spice at all I do not recommend it but if you don’t mind, it’s delicious. Spaghetti & meatballs sounds basic but the sauce tasted really good so he enjoyed his dish. Great portions, like a ton. Weird bathroom situation but what are ya gonna do. Good service & good bread/oil/garlic pre-meal. Thank you

Went to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Our server was very nice and patient with us. Two of us had the Sophia Loren pina colada and two had limoncello martini both delicious. We shared a Caesar salad, we had Shrimp a la Fantasia, chicken parm, spicy rigatoni and Sunday gravy. Everything was so delicious. They sang happy birthday and we shared a lemon cheecake that was tart yet sweet, light and creamy. I would definitely go back.

When food is prepared this well its hard to give them anything less than 5 stars. This was my 3rd visit this month & I can say- they are consistent. Our server made us feel like we were his only table! Very attentive felt like home cooking in a public atmosphere. If your looking for great Italian food in Manhattan- this would be my # 1 suggestion! As a preface I’ve reviewed over 50 Italian restaurants between NYC/NJ. Follow me for more suggestions; “How you doing!” P.S The Tequila espresso martini was the cherry-on-top of a great meal, definetly reccomend!
