My family is originally from Dixon, IL. I have many memories of driving back there to visit grandparents and distinctly remember the billboard for the Galena Avenue location on the way into town being there for decades. I don’t think I actually ever went to the Dixon location. I have, however, visited the location in Rock Island a few times and enjoy that location.

Great great place to eat! Fresh wholesome food. Don’t get to come to rock island much but when I do I stop every time. You will not find a better deli style sandwich anywhere else. Another big plus if you follow my other reviews is the bathroom cleanliness. I have yet to see a cleaner bathroom! Finally a restaurant that takes care for their bathrooms. 6 stars out of 5 for sure!

We always drive by this area and we see a lot of cars here so we decided to try it. This place has a really good ambiance. The food was great as well; I didn’t expect it to taste that good because it was just served on disposable stuff (since it’s the pandemic, so it’s definitely okay). The quantity of food was just enough and the quality is really good. I was very much surprised with their turtle cake—it was divine. We will definitely come back!

The food is good, the bread is soft and fresh, the people are pleasant, the restaurant is clean. Why 4 stars? Price. I know meat is expensive now, but without combo deals or a punch card system I’m not getting a dopamine hit if I were to save a few cents.

I was a first time visitor today. The menu was easy to follow and the staff taking my order was helpful and knew their products well. The sandwich was prepared accurately, the portions were reasonable and cost proportional. I’ll be back!

Somehow I’ve lived in the QC my whole life without ever eating at Arthur’s. We ate lunch there on a Wednesday and it was decently busy. The sandwiches were great, and the cheesecake. The sandwiches are hot unless you ask otherwise, and while I don’t usually get my subs that way, it really works well for theirs. We’ll certainly be back. A little pricey though, at $38 for 2 subs, 2 bags of chips, a macaroni salad, a slice of cheesecake, and 2 soft drinks.
