For a hotel restaurant, Giatu was pretty impressive. We had dinner on BMW as part of the performance center delivery of our new car. Wine was a tad on the expensive side for a hotel, but glasses of the house were moderate and pretty excellent. Beer selection was ok, but nothing exceptional. The food was excellent though. Both salads were very good, particularly the one with bacon, duck cracklings, and a fried egg, which was a meal on it’s own. The oxtail ravioli was also exceptional, though a bit heavy in the creamy sauce, particularly after the huge salad. The pork chop was immense and very well cooked and on the bone which I appreciate. Dessert was also very good and included a coca-cola cake with ice cream and a fried apple pie with apple ice cream which was delicious. Staff was friendly though a bit slow.

I chose the restaurant due to the ratings as well as the menu options. My so is vegetarian and it’s hard to find unique vegetarian dishes, so when we saw jackfruit dishes offered on the website menu, we were ecstatic.

Quite impressive for a hotel restaurant. Seafood chowder was generous with meat, service was prompt and professional.

Took 3 hours from sit-down to check. I ordered an entree and soda water. She didn’t charge for the soda water because of the bad service. Okay food. Most beers were kicked.

This restaurant has most certainly lost its ways over the years. It used to be really good and the staff was on their A game, but definitely seen a severe decline in the quality of the food as well as the staff. My last few experience with them were definitely on the terrible side of things. Took forever to be seated, from there waiter took a good 12 minutes before coming over, and even more time to come order my food. Had to ask on four separate occasions for wine, food came poorly prepared and wrong. Next day I figured I would give them one last shot as a to go order and same scenario, took well over 37 minutes to get my food and it wasn’t even cooked right, ended up throwing it away. Will never eat there again

They’ve got a few different menus (we sat in the dining area but asked for the bar menu), so ask for your options before you decide. Service was friendly, but gave us the check before asking if we wanted refills or desserts. Burger was undercooked and part of the chicken was slightly under too. Overall, this could be a five star place but stupid mistakes brought it to four stars.

Really good breakfast buffet. Coffee was mediocre. Service is very nice. Will definitely go back. We live here in Greer and typically have shied away from hotel restaurants, but it makes sense to support them
