Fantastic food and ambiance. Restaurant was cozy with live music. Ordered the medium hot red sauce mussels and Arturo’s pizza. Mussels were out of this world – one of my favorite seafood dishes (and I’ve had a lot of seafood). Pizza was good too! Only have a photo of one slice because we devoured the rest so quickly. Come hungry cause even the small is huge! Overall highly recommend Arturo’s!

This place has the best pizza in NYC by far! The coal oven makes for the perfect amount of crunch on the pie, and the sauce is delicious. Not to mention, the copious options for customization make this a perfect fit for all pizza lovers. I’ve gone to Arturo’s many times and everything has been incredible, but my menu favorites are the baked clams, fried calamari, arugula parmesan salad, garlic bread with cheese, frutta de mare over linguine, veal parmesan, and fiesta pizza. The staff is wonderful, helpful, attentive, and quick. Most have been working there for 10+ years. The restaurant is family owned and operated, giving it a cozy feel and differentiating it from all the surrounding group-owned restaurants. In addition to the food, there’s live jazz music every night from 7-11pm, making it a great spot for dates or catching up with friends. If you’re in the mood for a top-tier, perfectly decadent nyc pie, to support a local family-owned business, or to enjoy some great jazz music, this is the spot for you!

Nice ambience. Delicious food and live music. I would definitely come back here. This is a nice place for a date; red decor, dimly lit, and calm piano music to set the scene… definitely a vibe for seductive gluttony.

Best part about this place is that the inside still feels like old school NY. The bathroom even has a tub in it, like an old house converted into a restaurant many moons ago…

When walking in the host was really snappy and didn’t feel welcome, just because we had a toddler with us. Because our kid was hungry we decided to stay. The pizza wasn’t special, at all, parts of the crust were burnt and taste of the sauce was blend. When we mentioned it we weren’t taking serious and the owner started a discussion that we didn’t know what we were talking about.

We stumbled upon this place by accident. The pizza was actually pretty good. The mussels was actually very yummy! The ambiance was neat. The live music was a great touch. I would have given a full star but the waiter was a bit grumpy that day. Served the food but basically disappeared. You could tell he definitely wasn’t happy to be there. Come here for the food not the service. The music is in the front of the restaurant so arrive early to get a spot.

Food was delicious, staff and service were very good, place has lots of history so we really enjoyed it. FYI this area is hopping! Be prepared to wait for the one bathroom but I recommend to go.
