Really excellent, unique, and special food. We had a leisurely meal of several courses. The tower of eggplant appetizer, creamy chefs recipe garlic bread, jambalaya etouffe, and salmon over rigatoni pasta in creamy pesto sauce were all amazing. A small complimentary salad with delicious dressing tasted great and included tiny bits of cantaloupe, watermelon, and blueberries. Desert was tartufo. Our fun waiter did his best to make us laugh and keep us entertained. We sat outside at sunset and it was so pleasant. We also chatted briefly with guests who sat outside at the tables nearby who were also pleasant. I look forward to next time! Thank you!

Our server was beyond professional and excellent. She was able to manage both the owner of the restaurant and everybody else in it. The scallop Rockefeller was delicious as was the risotto balls (arancini). The salad was lovely with a bit of melon on top and a very nice dressing and their Parmesan bread was delicious. I got the olio pasta and for the most part it was lovely but it called for a bit of cheese which I believe was supposed to be included I asked for some I never received it nor the black pepper. This was in partial part due to the fact that we had to send my wife’s plate back. She got the crispy pasta but unfortunately most of the top of the pasta was completely dried out versus just having a nice crisp to it. The owner did not come to apologize or see if we were OK but again the server was excellent. As a foodie and purveyor of food I believe that something of this price caliber should be nothing less of excellent. The atmosphere leave something to be desired the plastic plants and friends along the wall I would do a whole redo and have a very clean line place with simple greenery. Additionally I made a reservation at noon today and the person who helped me did not communicate with the rest of the staff that we were actually coming so there was a bit of confusion from the start. My wife could’ve sworn she got the hairy eyeball from the owner after her plate was sent back and she is not a picky person when it comes to food at all. Sell the server was excellent and the beginnings of the meals was excellent. But not an overall positive experience.

This is a small nice restaurant with a good ambiance. The food was great. The only negative was that the lettuce was a little soggy, but the taste was good. My blackened fish salad was excellent. The garlic bread is a real treat as well.

We went for lunch and everything was under $20. I got the drunken clam pasta and it was so good. It comes with 5 big clams and then in the sauce there’s a bunch of tiny clams scattered. The garlic bread it came with was buttery and crispy. Overall it was great.

Waiters very inattentive, service was slow and unprofessional. Bus boy broke down tables behind us and dropped and left silverware in the floor. Had to ask for glasses and silverware. Waitress left several times to mysteriously go to her car.

Dianne and I are so grateful to Arugula for helping us host such a lovely baby shower for our daughter. Chef George came up with a great menu accommodating all of our guests who were all raving about the delicious meals prepared for them. Gayle and Theresa were a delight in handling our party in every aspect! We received many compliments from the beautiful set-up and how pretty the restaurant was, to how they enjoyed the friendly and professional staff at Arugula, to savoring their meals and even their coffee, and saying they wanted to return for dinner here again!
