I ordered two orders of steak tacos in one order of papa Loca and I called 25 minutes ahead of time, I arrived to only wait another 25 minutes for my order, which is unacceptable but I can say the food was good tacos was OK Papa Loco was amazing and the price is fair. This place is like a version of the truck in Kendall but the truck is better. They still have the #1 tacos from the food truck in Kendall. If I were to say to change anything it would be the service wait time and maybe a bilingual staff.

This is a home cooked meal. Made with love! Had the mini bandeja for lunch on a Friday. Price was about $12. I believe what makes this little restaurant special is the beautiful lady that took care of us (and invited us to stay for happy hour ), and the decorations on the walls and ceiling: vynil records, antique toys etc. They stay open late, have flat screen tv’s, a projector for soccer games, cold beer and play Salsa music. Only had 1 positive experience here. Every subsequent visit after i first ate here has been a complete disaster. Their service is non-existent…. Be prepared to WAIT. I had to just walk out after waiting 55 minutes for a quesadilla and they weren’t even busy. What a fail

This place is hidden in a plaza but it’s so good and worth the money on what you get. My 1st time but will not be the last. I had the Chozos de Pollo with Cheese Arepa and my husband had the Sancocho with 2 Modelo beers – so good for a quick bite.

I am extremely careful when I give 1 star to restaurants since I understand this can really hurt small businesses. Gave this restaurant the benefit of the doubt, people will always complain so i decided to go anyway. It’s unfortunate restaurants are not consistent. This place was really good when it opened, however, this will be my last time… This review is based on their professionalism and time as we didn’t even get to eat the food. 3pm on a Sunday, only 1 table (2 people which, is us) we proceed to order 2 hotdogs, nothing else… Not crazy, not a busy day.. we waited 20 mins and a couple entered to order lunch to go… Ok… 40 minutes later, their food (which was ajiaco and more elaborated food) was ready but not ours. We went ahead and cancelled the order, not a single apology, without a care in the world. Yea.. i wouldn’t recommend this place.

It takes a little to get your food, but the wait is worth it. The food is fresh. Great customer service. Really enjoyed my food and had a good experience. Will be coming back to do the “ Cantina” option 5 meals a week for about $42 what a deal

Restaurant was empty and food took forever!! When the food finally arrived….it was horrible. Our burgers had a funky smell to them. I couldn’t get passed the first bite. On top of that, the burger buns were so much bigger than the meat. It was our first time here and will not be coming back….we sincerely wanted to give this place a try. One more thing I want to point out, the men’s restroom need attention to cleanliness and maintenance, loud pipes seems to want to burst when you turn on faucet to wash your hands.
