Always the go to sushi place in West Nashville. Delicious, fresh, well-presented food, polite and friendly staff and reasonable prices! Their rolls, nigiri and salads are all reliably great! I’ve been there many times and never regretted a single bite!

I love Asahi! This place is truly a hidden gem. I would honestly say this is the best sushi restaurant in Nashville. The owners are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I go here at least once a week for take out.

90% of the food is great! For a buffet, that means a 100% approval rating!

Got the yellowtail and soft shell crab. Yellowtail was dry and didn’t taste fresh at all. Crab was overcooked and tasted burnt.

I tried this place for the first time and it was absolutely fabulous. I would almost always go to a Japanese restaurant for sushi, but it was lunchtime and I felt more like just a teriyaki combo kind of thing.

Average sushi. Good but not anything special. Service was a bit slow but friendly. One issue, the server/sushi chef (owner?) had cigarette breath, very noticeable. A real turn off. With a little effort, this could be a good place.

My husband and son and I went tonight and were so impressed. The sushi was fresh – some of the best I’ve had in a long time. And the service was excellent. Such a friendly place. And clean. We’ll be back.

Sooo delicious and quick service! The miso is carefully flavored and the tofu is fantastic. On a different visit we were able to order grilled tuna collar and it was absolutely succulent!
