Do not over look this place like we initially did! We are in Albuquerque for the night and had originally planned to eat at a different nearby restaurant but, due to long wait times, we came here and we were so so happy we did! First off the owners are SWEET as can be! They checked on us throughout the meal. We ordered the spicy chicken, bulgogi burrito, and the golden roll. The hot food came out piping hot and we scarfed it down! The sushi was fresh and delicious! Exactly what we were wanting! Definitely recommend!

The bibimbap with chili sauce was the best I’ve ever had, the tantan udon was amazing as well, and the owners are so kind every time we’ve visited! I highly recommend Asahi Express to everyone and will definitely be coming back!

Please come support them! We ordered a couple bento boxes and everything that came in them tasted amazing. I had the spicy pork belly and my bf had the bulgogi. Both very flavorful meats! The people working here are also very sweet and we will definitely be coming back!

This place is wonderful! A true gem on Central Ave. It was truly a humbling experience eating here. I had the shrimp tempura bento box. The presentation was beautiful—every portion of food was made with so much care, love, and gentleness. You could feel it as you ate. Worth every penny. I’ll need to take my coworkers. Thank you! ❤️

We ordered korean burrito with bulgogi and Korean spicy chicken with rice. They are both excellent! The burrito is not as spicy but still loaded with flavors and the spicy chicken with rice has perfect flavor but not too oily.
