I had an amazing lunch at Asa’s. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Twice backed potatoe on the money. Hand sliced fries as fresh as could be. Very reasonable on price. Asa is planning bbq nights in the summer. Definitely will be attending. Thanks again for a great meal!

We go pretty much every weekend for breakfast. By far the best breakfast around. Everything is made to order and uses the freshest ingredients. Hash is the best as well as the mushroom omelet. We havent tried lunch or dinner yet. Owner is very friendly and Max when he’s around is the love and spirit of the place.

Absolutely incredible! Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Our 3 children finished ALL of their meals for the first time, no leftovers. We were very impressed and can’t wait to come back for dinner. I can’t recommend enough, thank you!!

What a GEM! This place is incredible. From the service to the food, everything was fantastic. Our waitress, I wish we had gotten her name, was welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. The chef personally introduced himself and ensured his food was enjoyed. It’s a small, quaint restaurant but boy do I recommend it. If I could give 6 stars, I would.

I rarely travel through winsted but due to work i have been and noticed this restaurant. Tonight decided to have a family night out and i wasn’t disappointed. My daughter got the Julia burger my girlfriend had the special of the day, blackened chicken Alfredo and i had the fully loaded bacon cheese burger. Well i gotta say everyone was happy and full when we left . I got a bite of the Alfredo and it was excellent and definitely a from scratch sauce… definitely recommend next time im going for steak

Chef was super nice and directed us to some local art shops when we asked if he knew of any in the area. Food was quick and good, no fuss and not much wait if any. Solid find for a spur of the moment stop for lunch, would definitely make this a frequent thing if I were local.
