We got there and wasn’t sure if it was even open. We had the place to ourselves. Very beautiful scenery. I took some awesome time-lapse of rain coming over the mountains. My boyfriend ordered the trout and I the pheasant. Both were delicious. I have never seen pheasant in a restaurant before so that was different for me. Charming place, although I do think it is closer to 5 miles off the main road and not 3.5.

This is an absolute must go when you are in the area the drive will set you in the mood and once you get there and experience the view and the flavors of the food nothing can stop you from coming back. The Black Angus steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I’m not talking about a premix seasoning you can taste fresh herbs and vegetables that are not over or under cooked. The salad that comes with the meal was phenomenal nothing beats a good fresh crisp mix lettuce bowl with cherry tomatoes cucumbers red onions and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.

This was a gem of a find!!! Their menu is so unique to find in the middle of nowhere!!!! Thomas, our waiter was great and very knowledgeable about the area. Portions are large and delicious. Amazing view. We will definitely be back when in the area.

We waited 40+ minutes in a near empty (very warm and stuffy) restaurant, had to ask for more water (was not offered) and didn’t love the food. We finally recieved our food with cool soggy fries, cold chicken wings (that had sauce dispite asking for them without sauce) and the most awful looking, bland and disappointing Bleu cheese burger! (2 people in my group had good food-not great but good).

Food had no seasoning. The shrimp was not butterflied. The cocktail shrimp was undercooked. But the staff was nice and always had a smile. Overall it was O.K.
