This was my first time trying African food and I was stunned! The food was so flavorful and delicious the plantains were on point and the pounded yam was divine! Would definitely eat here again! Only thing was I was told three meats and I only got two meats and the meats were very small as you can see in the photo… other than that good food.

First time having African cuisine and it was a great experience! I had Ogbono soup, Egusu soup, fufu, jollof rice, chicken, goat, beef and a few things I forgot lol. I was with my African friend who showed me the ropes. I really loved the jollof rice with the meats, so much flavor. The ogbono soup was great as well with fufu. The staff is very nice. The hours posted online need to be updated. Hours are Monday-Saturday 11am to 5:30pm. The inside is small so not much seating and no AC, just fans. Overall great experience for my first time.

I wish I could give them ZERO STARS ! Literally the worst ! The meat in the Egusi soup was TOUGH, the flavor of the rice was Awful and tasted like metal ! I asked for chicken with my rice and they gave me the toughest beef ever! I’m so disappointed! I didn’t even eat one of the meals we ordered and they still charged! After I mentioned how hard the beef was! Didn’t offer me a new plate or anything ! Do not waste your money ! There’s a big beautiful spacious delicious restaurant right up the street! That serves the same food! GO THERE !

Best African Cafe hands down! The food is so good me and my family eat here at least 2 times a week. Even my picky kids love the fufu and egusi! My mouth is watering just thinking about this dish!

Looks amainzg. Too bad this tastes like spicy water. I got the Ogbono “Stew”. It’s not thick at all, more of a soup and there’s absolutely no seasoning at all.

The vegetables soup was the first thing I tried from this place. It got my taste buds going crazayyy. Love it and I ordered multiple times later on.

Everything was great. It wasn’t as spicy as they claim it would be. Maybe they were going easy on me with the spices since I’m American. I got the jollof with chicken and my partner got the Egusi soup with fufu everything was delicious.

I just ordered food through Uber. We ordered the Egusi and the Joll of Rice was not good at all. We can’t comment on the Uber app, because it does not give that option. Let’s start with the a Egusi the meat was hard and no flavor. The Joll of Rice had a burnt flavor and the meat was hard. This is our first time trying African food
