This place just opened a few month ago. The interior is spacious and clean. The buffet item list is not big, but all the items are good quality and well made. From slow cooked beef to grilled Turkish meatballs, every tasted really good. Be sure to try the many amazing salads and desserts too. Drinks are included in the price of the buffet as well. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended.

Really nice spread for a Friday evening. Great meat entrees as well as some really good borscht. Only thing, there’s a secret menu item. If you are lucky, the chef will grill up some really nice chicken and beef kebab and he will walk around and offer it. DO NOT say no. Take it. Take as much as you can. . Delicious tender juicy chicken morsels and a perfectly seasoned beef kebab. Unfortunately he only gave me one kebab and two chicken morsels. I hung around for another 30 minutes hoping he will come around again but finally left after stuffing myself with the strawberry crepes.

1st time to visit. No frills dining area with basic decor. Greeted immediately upon entering by the owner (we think). Dinner was $19.99 per person and included a drink. Limited options on the hot buffet bar but what was available were very flavorful. The salad bar was similar in selection options, but the beet salad was delicious. Desserts were not too sweet and varied. We enjoyed our dinner and hope that Ashim’s gets more business. Support your local small business and try this place out instead of the usual national chain restaurants.

Wanted to take my mom someplace different for Mother’s Day and she was up for Ashim’s. We both loved it. The menu changes, but during our visit there was a variety of salads, desserts, meat dishes, pasta and veggies. The highlight for me was the eggplant, chicken kabobs and the Greek salad. Can’t wait to go back.

I recently had the pleasure of buying takeout from Eastern-Euro buffet. My son was not feeling well and I needed to bring something healthy. The variety of dishes offered was impressive with an excellent selection of appetisers salads, entrees. I was a special impressed with the quality of the food. Everything was fresh, flavourful and expertly prepared. The Staff and the owner were friendly, attentive and available to assist with answering my questions and my requests. And the prices are very reasonable!

I went with some friends to try Ashim’s Buffet this afternoon. The buffet overall was tasty, largely focusing on Mediterranean food with a few generic foods (fries, chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes) throw in. The hummus and eggplant casserole were delicious. I would like to see more dessert selections as there were 4 similar cake desserts. I think I would come back on weekday since it is a bit cheaper. It is $20 on the weekends and I believe $14 or 15 Monday – Friday.

Nice change of pace in the Keller area. Interesting mix of Easter European and Mediterranean buffet dishes. I loved the kebab chicken, meatballs, dolmas, beef stroganoff, mushroom noodles, and a cabbage quiche type dish. All very good. Look forward to next time at the buffet.

It was good. I would have liked to see a bit more variety of Eastern European styled food. The stuffed cabbage was disappointing since I have eaten them in Eastern Europe. No meat in the stuffing and lacking tomato sauce. Salad bar and dessert selection was good. Drink included in price was nice touch. I would recommend though sticking strictly with either Mediterranean/Turkish menu, or go totally with Eastern European dishes which I would like to see.

Absolutely enjoyed it. Finally some good Eastern European food that not only Europeans enjoy and appreciate. I left, oh, so full. So was my husband. The food was just delicious! And you can tell healthy cooking. The place was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Love!
