Really good, sharable food–a great recommendation by our waitress to do a family-style meal! Everything was seasoned well and the texture was fantastic. We ordered hummus with cauliflower shawarma and falafels as a starter, oven roasted carrots as a first course, and shared an eggplant tagine. Plenty for 3 people with leftovers. A bit pricey since we did not go during happy hour, but the food definitely did not disappoint.

While visiting the in-laws a few weeks ago, we decided to check out Ash’Kara one day for lunch. Israeli/middle eastern cuisine happens to be one of my absolute favorites and this place had great reviews. We liked the simplicity of the menu and we liked the interior design of the place itself. Service was also great, attentive and accommodating especially with two young kids.

The carrot dish is my absolute favorite!! Labneh on the bottom, apricots, carrots, nuts, so fricken good!! I’m going to make it at home for the next dinner party I go to. Bartenders were super friendly and down to earth, really great middle eastern vibes and aesthetics. I’ll be back and the BROWNIE is worth all of the calories!!! I promise

I will never understand restaurants that insist in participating in Restaurant Week when they can’t staff properly. We waited 30 min to get our drinks which we ordered 2 times, one via manager and one via stand in help because our server was unavailable. They did comp them but they came out when we were halfway done with our appetizers. The hummus only comes with one pita. When we ordered a second it took another 10 min to come out and we were also told “yeah one is not enough” – so then why do you serve it that way? My husband’s flank steak was under-seasoned and also cost $39 for one of the least expensive cuts of meat. My wood fired carrots were pretty good. I wouldn’t ever come back here due to the horrendously slow and inattentive service. Food was fine but not worth the 35 min drive. Get some Little Sesame hummus (authentic Israeli) from Sprouts and you’ll have yourself a better time.

Just had one of the best meals of my life here, the hummus is out of this world (get the pita bread and all the toppings, particularly the mushrooms) and the falafel bowl was superb. Hands down the best part of lunch was the service, Samantha was awesome! We’d come back for dinner if we didn’t have to head to the airport!

The hummus was delicious, the service was better. Samantha took care of me, helped me through the menu with selections and even brought me a sample of the pickles as I was curious. The bartender also helped take care of me (didn’t get his name). Both were attentive without being too much. Great service flow. They add the 20% service charge here- but it is VERY clearly stated on the menu, and the bartender made sure to point it out to me when he brought the check as well. I have no problem with that charge as long as it is clearly shown which it was. I’ll be back for sure. Nice shaded patio for lunch as well.

The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious. We went during happy hour and the prices were pretty reasonable. The pita was absolutely delicious and was served nice and hot with a nice portion of hummus. Waited till 5 and ordered the beef tagine, and although it was 58 dollars, it was a fair price as the portion was large and could be shared amongst 3 people. It’s definitely worth a visit ☺️

Loved my experience here! First time here and this spot did not disappoint. I came here with friends living in Denver and loved the fun ambiance and vibes. The waiters and waitresses were very earnest with their recommendations. When I asked about their mezcal cocktail and whether it was good, our waitress replied, “it’ll smack you right in the face.” Needed that response. Needed that drink.
