I will never enter this restaurant again. I went to this restaurant today for the first time to eat because I have been hearing nice things about the food. While I was at the restaurant I asked the lady about a job the look she gave me and the awkward way she kept looking around at the customers who where all (white) which is fine I associate with being white to even though I am mixed. The lady that owned the place made me feel out of place she told me straight off they do not tolerate smoking or foul language.( I was like great this is a place for me )then she proceeded to say that they were a Christian runner business and that they were all family their ( I felt like I was a great fit at the moment ) then she proceeded to say while I was their trying to apply for a job ( while looking around at all the white customers in the restaurant) no one wants to work anymore and that it was hard to find good help etc, etc. My heart fell down to my feet for a minute, she really wasn’t interested in anything I was saying about where I have worked or my qualifications she was just to busy judging me because she thought that I was BLACK. The lady that was sitting at a table behind where I was conducting the small interview with the lady who owned the restaurant, she started telling miss Ashley that she was from MULBERRY street and that she new someone who was needing a job they proceeded to chat back and fourth ( while o was sitting there awkwardly) and exchanging phone numbers I became upset told the lady this was not for me told her I was almost in tears and I left. If this is what being a CHRISTIAN is about I don’t want to associate with Christians Christ church none of the lot GOD DONT SEE COLOR

I went into Ashley’s to place my order (which did Not take long, for as much as I ordered)! After other errands, I finally made it home. Only to find that I was missing a couple of items. I called and asked to speak with the manager, told her what happened AND she was DETERMINED to make it right!! She sent my missing items TO MY HOUSE!! This shows me “Above & Beyond” ..& Ashley’s will FOREVER get my business!

Very friendly and happy atmosphere combined with very delicious homestyle cooking, about $10 a plate and you get your main course, two sides of your choice, bread, and a drink. Came in yesterday and had the baked Chicken Breast with mashed potato’s and fried apples and loved every bite, highly recommended if your in the area and don’t feel like fixing your normal meal at home, then this is definitely the place for you.

My first visit. Chicken Salad was great as well as customer service. Super place and I will highly recommend but my only complaint is the Chicken salad croissant. Chicken salad was great but the croissant was dense and hard. I think of a croissant as buttery light and soft. Mine was not. But this is my only complaint. I will definitely try it again. Great place.

My 3rd time going and it’s always a pleasure! The owner was very polite on the phone and in person as well as the gentleman whom was at the register! And that sweat potato casserole was the best ever as the whole entree as usual is great! Knew I had to get 3 desserts cause the kids and ol lady was taking out 2 thank god I was left with what I had my eyes on that cake with the chocolate icing and pecans! See you guys Friday!!
